Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

You need run main Setup from the soiftware suite first to installed the driver then to audio then setup to setup software next after you reboot. Make Sure you Uninstalled old driver from Device Manager and reoboot then run driver cleaner or sweaper then installed main setup from suite then run audio software next .

And the problem is on the start. I have an error when running Steru from main folder of PC Siute:
This is the screen of my error (in Polish :P, but you will recognize it)
http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/4079/screenjdf.jpg

I've tried to install the drivers manually from Drivers/setup.exe, but i get the same error. You wrote that your driverr is based on SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0010.exe

I downloaded the SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0010.exe from creative website and it works. It installs normally. What can be wrong?

That would be great Robert I sugest to create a new topic named "How to install the Pax drivers" or something like that. I'm sure that will help many people, and you won't be asked for the same questions again and again.

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Hi Robert,

Thank you for your hard work!!!!

1., I see that Console Launcher is ver. 2.40.09. Is it worth to install the latest ver. 2.61.09 after your suite? I hope there won't be compatibility issues...

2., I didn't see DDL and DTS connect in your new suite. Is it possible to install them separately from your earlier driver set or suite?

I have X-fi Extreme Music and XP SP3.

THANKS!!!!

Greetings Robert!
I disabled the error reporting tool, but i leaved checked box named "But notify me when critical errors occur"
Then I started the installation again (first i have uninstalled everything and used Diver Cleaner Pro) and then occurred the same error:
http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/6595/screen3iut.jpg

Then I've tried to install another PAX drivers with sofrware from Pax audigy suite spring edition 2009. The drives installed normally except the THX Console from PAX_PCI_Audigy_OS_V6.25. There was an error:
http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/1941/screen4a.jpg

Then i installed the software from PAX spring 2009 with all options and the THX Console installed normally.

But is it true, that if the PAX_PCI_Audigy_OS_V6.25 are installing drives with some software (for exaplme THX Console) then i should not install the same software again from PAX Suite Spting 2009?

Thanks for help!

Hello Robert.

I bought a piece of junk XPS 700 when they first came out and the speakers always popped and were getting very annoying.

I just installed your 2009 suite and now I am getting this error.

Is their any way you can help me fix this. I would love to use your drivers.

Robert - You did a great job with XFI PCIe Audio Extreme ("crappiest card in the world") drivers V1.25. Are you planning any updates for these?

Hey Rob ,

I formatted my laptop and I was wondering if there is a better suite out there for my SB0710 -> Xtreme Audio Notebook. Would like to try something better than the crap creative gives .

Cheers,
