That was a good idea, but sadly it didnt work. None of the currently released drivers have this card's signature. I'll just have to be patient.

EDIT: Sorry Robert, I didnt see the PCIe_PAX_X-Fi_Xtreme_Audio_V1.30 drivers at the bottom. It worked! Thanks so much!

Re: XP,Vista,Win 7 Driver Support for Audigy,XFI,Xtreme Audio,USB,PCI E Support Cards

Actually, Windows Update has Audigy 1(SB0160)drivers that work with Windows 7.

I don't know how to copy the files from Windows update into one file, but I can try do that if you need me to.

If I send you them, can you quick-modify them to a rough copy that will just work/nothing fancy so I can try?

Re: XP,Vista,Win 7 Driver Support for Audigy,XFI,Xtreme Audio,USB,PCI E Support Cards

hi all there, I'm newbie here. after the long days use onboard soundcard, I've bought my very first external soundcard, the XtremeMusic one. but unfortunately, it's not the retail SB0460, it's a OEM Dell, SB0467. and I found out that it's lock the DTS & DD decode function
so could you please tell me, which mod driver released, can fix this problem, to enable the built-in decoder for DTS & DD?
thanks

new update, I've found something could be useful for the one's the same soundcard X-Fi XtremeMusic OEM Dell SB0467 like me

this driver pack from our superman PAX could enable the DTS & DD decode function
RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting

but this version is quite old, more than a year I guess. wonder does PAX release a newer one?

Hi, PAX, sorry but could you tell me which set can unlock the DTS & DD for my OEM Dell SB0467? 'cause you've released a lot and I'm really confused which one I need? I use both XP and Vista OS

thanks

Hi Robert, its been a few months since i've been here, have you had any chances to look at the PCI Express X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro Series (SB0886)? if so, can you tell me if your drivers will work, and unlock the DD/DTS decoding on the card? if not, would you be so kind to tell me which of the PCI-E cards have the DD/DTS decoding working w/ your driver? looking at all the stuff is alittle confusing..

TIA!

Ya there No unlocking decoding set I don't know how to do that I'd haven't updated tweaks in while for you folkes going do that soon. Maybe it's depends which card you have? I always have DTS and DD on my champ card. Maybe gamers cards don't carry because of that.

Re: XP,Vista,Win 7 Driver Support for Audigy,XFI,Xtreme Audio,USB,PCI E Support Cards

AFAIK that card is supposed to be "the best of the best (non professional card)" ((a glorified version of the Creative SB0880 PCI Express Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium))
back when i found this site i also had found a list of soundcards that supported onboard DD/DTS even if vista drivers did not.. i can't seem to find that back..

right now I have a old old old Audigy Platinum (SB0090 i think) that the DD/DTS in "works" (i say "works" because it has stopped working w/ my PS3 but works fine on my 360) in Vista 64. and so far any attempt to get it to work on the PS3 has failed.

is this the card you have? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16829102021

I do have that with my current card. (im not 100% sure on that Creative number) I really need a PCI-E solution as i'm going to be upgrading my PC and it wont have a useable PCI slot (blocked by SLi/Crossfire)
