I did tried all the drivers for my X-Fi Elite pro but I still getting this error "Setup was unable to detect the supported device..." here is my hardware ID PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0005&SUBSYS_00001102&REV_00 PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0005&SUBSYS_00001102 PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0005&CC_040100 PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0005&CC_0401 Thank you!!! |

Thanks, i missed this one, and it works fine.
Can i install on this crap (SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio OEM PCI-E) THX Console and other? I try Pax X-Fi All OS Special Software Suite Winter 2009, and i see "Setup was unable to detect the supported device..." I do what Your recommend: "1. Uninstalled Drivers from Device Manager. 2.Reboot 3.Used cleaner or sweaper I recommed cleaner! 4.Reboot. 5.If you have your XFI Software you don't need to installed it. 6. If you don't installed software first full custom Skip the driver if you don't need it. 7.Reboot if not skip 5,6. 8. Run setup from my driver. 9. Reinstalled creative launcher and volume nob, then the driver. 9A. Chose go ahead installed Unsign driver. 10.Reboot. 11.Enjoy! " Thanks for help! |

Can you help me to solve problem with my Creative X-fi gamer (PCI low profile card) I have Windows Seven Ultimate x64 and 6GB of memory on board. Problem is that i have some strange cracking sound, noice, when use PC (maximize and minimize window; Use Firefox; and other) I tried: Drivers from Creative: DanielK: XFI_AuzenWDM_1_0 XFI_SupportPack_2_0 PAX Pax X-Fi All OS Software Suite Winter 2009 And i still have that strange poping ; cracking sound And then i was discover this beta driver testing programs from Creative LINK So, all my problems are in "Bugy" drivers? I need to whait for creative offical drivers for x64 systems with more than 4gb RAM on board??? Here is my config: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8200 DDR2 2x2 Patriot LDC24G6400LLK and 1x1 GEIL Ultra = 6Gb of memory MB: Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3 Video: GeForce 8800 GT (Gigabyte GV-NX88T TYPE B) 512 MB Sound: Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer HDD: Seagate Baracuda 500GB ST3500320AS DVDRW: Pioneer 217 FBK Sound system: Radiotehnika 35 AC-1 p.s. sorry for Bad English, i live in Belarus |

Is this Hardware Error? Or Windows Seven X64 Platform Error? Is this bug can be fix with just simple driver upgrade in future? Or i need to change platform to xp or vista now? |

From watching this thread i have gathered the following: PCI X-FI Cards Dont work X-Fi Dont work of Win 7 x64 X-Fi Dont work on nVidia NForce Motherboards X-Fi Dont Work if you have too much RAM X-Fi Dont Work if you have too little RAM Can someone please tell me when X-Fi cards do actually work, because it seems like anyone with a system build in the last 2 years X-Fi wil not work. I am so gutted I have spend £190 on this. as there is no way to get my card working PLEASE can someone point me in the direction of a different soundcard with equivalent features. Please help me out, i cant cope with the popping and distorted sounds. PLease Help ME! MG |

I have a question, any news about modded Audigy 2 NX drivers for windows 7 x64? I've installed the beta drivers dowloaded from the official creative site, but all the software suite don't work because it says "not supported device found on system"
