I have Windows Seven Ultimate x64 and 6GB of memory on board.
Problem is that i have some strange cracking sound, noice, when use PC (maximize and minimize window; Use Firefox; and other)

I tried:

And i still have that strange poping ; cracking sound

And then i was discover this beta driver testing programs from Creative LINK

Sound: Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
HDD: Seagate Baracuda 500GB ST3500320AS
DVDRW: Pioneer 217 FBK
Sound system: Radiotehnika 35 AC-1

Robert can you give me more advance answer? I read many russian forums, and still dont have answer (

Is this Hardware Error?
Or Windows Seven X64 Platform Error?

Is this bug can be fix with just simple driver upgrade in future? Or i need to change platform to xp or vista now?

Hi,

From watching this thread i have gathered the following:

PCI X-FI Cards Dont work
X-Fi Dont work of Win 7 x64
X-Fi Dont work on nVidia NForce Motherboards
X-Fi Dont Work if you have too much RAM
X-Fi Dont Work if you have too little RAM

Can someone please tell me when X-Fi cards do actually work, because it seems like anyone with a system build in the last 2 years X-Fi wil not work.

I am so gutted I have spend £190 on this. as there is no way to get my card working PLEASE can someone point me in the direction of a different soundcard with equivalent features.

Please help me out, i cant cope with the popping and distorted sounds.

PLease Help ME!

MG

Robert,

It's not a problem, my friend. I searched for the support pack download and found it from a 3rd party website. The original link in this thread no longer had the download available. I just wanted to notify you.

Hi @ all i am a new user from italy.

I have a question, any news about modded Audigy 2 NX drivers for windows 7 x64?

I've installed the beta drivers dowloaded from the official creative site, but all the software suite don't work because it says "not supported device found on system"
