thx ddts missing
hello i have downloaded and installed the latest pax drivers but thx and dolby ddts decoding are not there and also neither is the remote control software.
I have a X-Fi fataility champion series card the one with the internal conector bay so i know i has dolby dts and thx capibiity i just need to find ot how to activate it. I have windows vista ultimate 32bit and i also need the programs that control the remote rcman.exe or rcman2.exe or something like that. any help would be appericiated. |

@lcslouis: I think you had the new Fatal1ty card (Fatal1ty Champion/ XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro). Since 2006 Creative stop the old Fatal1ty serial - ID SB0466/ SB0468/ SB0469 and replace with new Fatal1ty serial - ID SB046A; nothing change in physical hardware but DD/ DTS decoders are removed in driver level. Just open your case and read the S/N of the card MASB046A... or else?
@Rob: I think you had the old one. Can you add DD/ DTS decoders support for SB046A? Like you had done with DELL OEM XtremeMusic SB0467... Thank you very much! |

I have the Fatal1ty Champion pro with 5 1/4 inch drive bay (SB046A) and I don't have DD or DTS decoding aswell. I have resorted to giving up on it for now. I have bought the DDLive and The DTS Connect pack and love it. now instead of 6 cables going to my surround sound reciever I only have one. the trick is when the DDL/DTS connect and the decoding was working you couldn't have both on at the same time I just put it on pass-thru (Bypass).

ya hmm I feel bless with I havd DTS and DD on my XFI Champ card with bay
I also got the DDL and DTS connect pack and love it too.

Rob can you add Dolby/ DTS decoders for X-Fi Fatal1ty SB046A? Daniel Kawakami done it one before (compiled on mar 11 2008). But his driver is too old now and we love you and your driver. Just only the DD/ DTS lacking problem left to kill...
