How to installed for XFI Suites. You must go to Audio folder then Setup folder then run main Setup.exe then your set. Don't used main setup other way it won't work.

Hello rob iam having troubles installing the x fi software suite for my x fi elite pro(pci) card the installation goes fine up to when the drivers get installed well when you install drivers from creative you can hear the card clicking into life and the lights come that's how i know the drivers have installed fine but when i install your drivers i don't get no clicking noise and when i restart my PC there is no sound.Any ideas thanks rich.

Yes i installed how you said used driver cleaner in safe mode and everything going to put creative drivers back on until you have a look ta rich.

Quick update i have installed youpax drivers what i did was uninstall ATI high definition audio drivers then installed your drivers and they work now.I don't now if you new this already if not there's something for other users to look out for thank you rich.

Hm, may I ask if this fix the memory problem for ever?

And is the fixed also in the 32bit driver?
And maybe I have over see it, but what are exact the changes of the software pack?

Thanks a lot to read this, is not to give you the fault.

It's only i'm very dissepointed to creative.
There have also send me a email that this problem is fix in the Pci-express version, but it was a lie. reviews let know that this problems also exist in the pci-express versions.
If there cannot fix it, there needed just to contact microsoft to ask for support of the problem.

Maybe i'm realy realy wrong, but I think you maybe not know where I taking about.

Because My system configration is overkill to your system.
And you have maybe never use a memory configration above the 4GB
and maybe never use a Dual core processor or Dual socket mainboard. And maybe never can fix that problem at all.

But It's not to be negative to you. But if i'm wrong, then i'm sorry to post this.

How many are you having trouble installing drivers on Music? I can't installed drivers from suite on my mom old pc. I know the Champ card works but my Music card doesn't want installed it. I'm going installed my V6.60 set if works I release it out soon

No it doesn't I might have pull sets soon anyway if people having trouble installing the drivers I be working on some drivers right now since XFI and Audigy are done. Before I do offical release might be good Idea have loyal tester here first. Before branching out to other forums hehe.

v6.55 & Pax X-Fi Software Suite OS Spring 2009 work just fine...

well i've got "Pax X-Fi Software Suite OS Spring 2009" installed.

should i go for the update @ PAX_PCI_XFI_OS_Full_V6.60?
is it a newer version or what's the difference?

Loyal beta tester right here!

Already tried the Spring Audigy set with my Audigy notebook and it worked perfectly! So when the XFI Notebook is ready I'll be there!

I be working on next month

I'm going go 3meg down and 1.5meg up soon. It takes me 1 hour and half upload 500 meg file to ftp site lol. Soon my friends comes over here to setup new access point then he put me on faster speed

. Because I got redownload newest build yet my self. Thats why I'm waiting to go bit faster first

Did the first packet:

How to use:

1) Install the unofficial "SB X-Fi Series Installation Disc for 
Windows XP/Vista" from Daniel Kawakami (daniel_k).
At least Audio Console or Console Launcher must be installed.
 
 
 
 
 
 
2) Close any running Creative applications or restart Windows in  
Safe Mode.

Run DDLUnlocker.exe and follow the instructions.
 
 
 
 
 
 
3) Download the latest Auzen X-Fi Prelude driver from: 
Auzentech, Inc. Sound Cards. Audio You Can Believe In. World First soundcards for Music, HTPC, and Gaming.

Unpack with full paths.
Open \Audio\Setup and copy CmnSupt.cab, CTCabEx.dll and 
engine32.cab to \Audio\DDL.
 
 
 
 
 
 
4) Install the Dolby Digital Live Pack 
Open \Audio\DDL and run Setup.exe.

Save the contents in this folder for future installaions.
 
 
 
 
 
 
5) Restart Windows and run Audio Console or Console Launcher. 
IMPORTANT: Do not try to enable both Decoder and Encoder at 

the same time or you'll get static sound.

2. I did jumps on SPDIF Optical Out on my Sharkoon DD5.1 HEADSET (sound off and on again), a new optical cable not helped. DD5.1!

I hope they may have a solution.

Hi robert,
my Creative Xtreme Music UAA isn´t supported by your CD
I see some .dat files that are on my original Creative CD but not on yours.
ex. ctp0772v.dat, ctp073v.dat, ctp0779v.dat and ctp079v.dat.

Is there any chance to get dts work without dts pack? in xp theres no prob. and with xtreme music without uaa, i have dts in vista...wtf???

Is there any chance that you import my soundcard to your CD on next release?
Do you need my original DriverCD? i can upload it for you.

Is the Pax X-Fi OS V6.60 included in the suites (XFHX and this here)?

Does the V6.60 Pax X-Fi OS support Xtreme Music AND Xtreme Music UAA?
(Are both, XFHX-Suite and normal-Suite users able to install the suite and the Pax X-Fi OS 6.60 after?)

Ok, I got it.
I saw the dates from the V6.60 and Suite topics and therefor the V6.60 should be a newer driver than the one in the suite. I deinstalled all Creative/PAX software and used DriverSweeper after Reboot. Then I installed the suite without VolumePanel, AudioConsole, ConsoleStarter and driver, did a reboot and installed the whole V6.60 package and everything works fine. Just heard a bit music and the sound is a bit louder at same settings than with V6.55 and the bass is stronger, very good sound!

VolumePanel and ConsoleStarter are working without any problem. Alltogether it couldn`t be better so far.
Will test a few games the next days and if I don`t post other, everything will be fine.

and

I just want to put a screw its little heart. I'm pretty sure I tried it all and followed instructions very closely. Everything is loaded, when I saw the vol panel I was sure it would work, but, not so lucky. I guess my question is will I ever be able to hear what is sounds like? The one consistant error I get is "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" Am I holding my tongue wrong?

Hi Did you try the main drivers driffter cards might not work as well with the suite drivers. Whats your ID? I could be missing it

I saw the dates from the V6.60 and Suite topics and therefor the V6.60 should be a newer driver than the one in the suite. I deinstalled all Creative/PAX software and used DriverSweeper after Reboot. Then I installed the suite without VolumePanel, AudioConsole, ConsoleStarter and driver, did a reboot and installed the whole V6.60 package and everything works fine. Just heard a bit music and the sound is a bit louder at same settings than with V6.55 and the bass is stronger, very good sound! VolumePanel and ConsoleStarter are working without any problem. Alltogether it couldn`t be better so far. Will test a few games the next days and if I don`t post other, everything will be fine. __________________

I'm totaly and I just want to put a screw its little heart. I'm pretty sure I tried it all and followed instructions very closely. Everything is loaded, when I saw the vol panel I was sure it would work, but, not so lucky. I guess my question is will I ever be able to hear what is sounds like? The one consistant error I get is "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" Am I holding my tongue wrong?
