Re: PAX USB Sound Blaster Series V1.00

Hey Rob, love the driver modding you're doing, you're really helping people out... I just tested this driver, it installs correctly but a "Driver Setup Tool has stopped working" Windows 7 error occurs. The driver works correctly though, should I be worried from the error? Also, are you planning to make any further modifications on this particular driver, except for the bass enhancement? Thanks!

Re: PAX USB Sound Blaster Series V1.00

I have no idea when the hockey season is over! Btw, you didn't say, should I be worried from the error? It's an installer issue, so if you only make sound modifications in the next release it will show up again! Thanks!

Re: PAX USB Sound Blaster Series V1.00

Yeah I did use driver cleaner, and If I'm not mistaken bass is deeper now, very low frequencies must have been boosted. Thanks!

Re: PAX USB Sound Blaster Series V1.00

A million thanks! Is it possible that you implement the X-Fi controls that are installed for other X-FI sound cards? You know, the ones with the knob and the shiny blue interface and all that... Also, are you planning on implementing ASIO support? But that means making a new driver rather than modding an existing one I guess...

Re: PAX USB Sound Blaster Series V1.00

As long as you add/improve driver features and enhance the sound you're doing more than enough for me and everyone else with notebook X-Fis. Thanks again!

Re: PAX USB Sound Blaster Series V1.00

What about enhancing this driver Robert? Isn't there anything else you can add/modify? You only added more bass so far...
