Hey!

What's the difference between YouP-PAX and daniel_k drivers?

As i understand Rob makes also Suites, but daniel only drivers?

I'm really confused here.

If someone would explain it to me. Thanks!

There are software packages from daniel_k too. Try one from either and see if it fits your combination of card and operating system.

As you probably read my other thread i'm having problem with PAX software package.

Can you please point me out daniel's software package? Official Creative forums only find his modified drivers.

I hadn't but I read up now and happen to be using the same type of sound card under Windows 7. I haven't tried any recent Youp-Pax package so I can't compare, simply because when installing the first Win7 beta I stumbled upon a daniel_k package named "Audigy_SupportPack_2_18_0001_W7" and it's been running well ever since. At the time it could be found on Creative's board but they've been on and off about their intentions towards daniel_k's work so perhaps they've banned him again. He has a blog over at Daniel_K and perhaps it's linked there somewhere.

Tried that daniel_k SupportPack - exactly the same situation as with PAX. No device supported when trying to open EAX Console to turn on CMSS.

Had the same thing with Vista. Only works with XP.

I be releasing new set soon I going added left and right speaker tweak for 2.1 set.

I get the feeling that maybe the driver part somehow hasn't installed correctly. The console runs here and the basic CMSS mode is turned on by default as usual. The driver version reads 6.0.1.1361, dated 2008-08-21.
