Why doesn't it work under Win7?
Hey there!
First of all, let me say that i had the EXACT same problem under Windows Vista. I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64 build 7600 (RTM), and Audigy 2 ZS. First of all i installed this: Pax Audigy Software Suite Spring Edition 2009 (went to Audigy4\Audio\Setup\setup.exe) Then i installed: PAX PCI Audigy Windows 7 Alpha V1.05 After i did reboot Creative logo was in the quick launch. When opening it Surround Mixer was there. I noticed Bass and Treble sliders are dimmed: ![]() When i tried to open EAX Console, it said: ![]() I tried to run diagnostic, and some things failed (can't repair, says i have to reinstall. But it doesn't help as the same situation will come): ![]() So what can be the problem? I've heard daniel_k also has released some package for Audigy under Vista (over 700mb)? Should i try that? Thanks for helping me out |

Re: Why doesn't it work under Win7?
Hey Rob!
I don't think it has anything to do with the drivers but the Audigy 4 soft perhaps. Maybe my card is not supported by newer Windowses. Because the same thing is with daniel's and official drivers. It has to be something with the soft. Last edited by supaboy; Jul 20, 2009 at 12:11 PM. |
