I found a glitch in my own driver sorry ever one release when I get up

my bad everone makes mistakes lol.

I found this by accident, and like the sound of it (pardon the pun lol).

This is a bit confusing though. It says V1.10, yet there is another post which says Summer 2009 Edition

Now which is which? I would like to try this, as I believe it produces better sound quality than Creative's own, and also because the Creative installer doesn't include the system tray Volume Control icon anymore. I have X-Fi Extreme Gamer installed, by the way.

You welcome to used software suite first but don't installed drivers from it. Then installed drivers from v1.10 set. I be releasing new summer suite soon when I get chance next week.

Hallo Rob

it is intention in the audio driver ini these lines are missing

in support cab .
SetEntertainmentModeBass87% = 1
SetGameBassMode91% = 1
SetAudioCreationModeBass87% = 1
the Musik sound is great .

I took those out mate They where causing Disortion in the sound It added bass to much to other settings thats why they sound great now

Plus no hissing if you added that back in the set you get more hising noise because bass was to much hehe.

I was having trouble getting my mic to stay on with the official divers, since installing these i've not had that problem

I'm having problems installing this, tried it 3 times and each time I received the same error:

It continues when I click Ok. Everything seems to work tho', but what is the error for?

Btw I have this problem, I'm on XP Pro 32bits but the shutdown processs of the PC also takes forever when I install the drivers and suite.... any ideas?

Ya it's creative drivers mate

Just disable your 24 bit setting in the mixer before shutting down windows that would slove it.

These drivers rock, I just picked up an X-Fi OEM card for $16 yesterday at Microcenter, installed these drivers in Vista 64, and the difference in headphone positional sound in Left4Dead and Killing Floor over my Audigy 2 ZS is phenomenal. I have a friend who got one and tried using it in Windows 7 and just gets white noise tho, not sure why. I had him try these too, same thing.

Anyway, thanks for your hard work, I can't imagine getting more out of my $16

I dunno, I'll check with him and see. He was thinking about falling back to vista for now anyway, due to some other issues, but I'll mention Driver Cleaner to him. Thanks.

np Make sure he Uninstalled from Device Manager then Run the cleaner then reboot

then reinstalled software forget audio con in it doesn't work lol. but redo installed Creative Launcher and Volume nob

Yup Crystalizer Make sure it's off before shutting down your system it save bit time.

Are these drivers capable of enabling the missing "Decode" tab in the Audio Control Panel? (X-Fi XtremeMusic SB0460)

Also using an Elite Pro breakout box.

EDIT: well, they didn't worked (no decode tab). Any advice?

do u have uaa music card not all card won't have decode tabs i'd mine does in other pc on music card so does my champ too. do have oem card could be it also?

Ok, so i finally took some courage and took the card out of the PC. On the face it has printed SB0460, but the sticker on the backside has "MBSB0467...". As seen here, i'm sh1t outta luck with official drivers, so basically i have a card crippled in BIOS, from what i understand. My only hope is for your drivers or DanielK ones to fix this.

I'm hesitant to download your full 500+MB because of this.

EDIT: Currently testing your 3.63.03 release, which supposedly make the Decode tab appear again. Will report in some minutes.

EDIT2: I can't believe it. It finally appeared. I'll report my findings in a new thread.

In the meantime, i can tell you that the "Decode" tab and "DD/DTS SPDIF-In decode" options are available. Since this drivers are pretty ancient, would it be much to ask for you to use this technique in your updated drivers?

Well, i'm no expert but i tried to follow this trick here, using the ctac32k.sys from your 3.63.03 release (the ONLY driver working so far for the Decode tab). I tried to mix it with YouP XFI 1.10 and even Official Creative drivers (2.18.0013, and 2.18.0013 with shutdown fix). Nothing.

About your comment, believe me it's not weird, i know your card may work normally and with the decoder tab without problems, since your card is one of these, which do not have the decoder tab disabled at driver level.

Just in case, my card is Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic (SB0467), plus the Elite Pro external breakout box (as seen here).

Hey Want PM Me I like help you out so we can know which files would work later on. I have do PCI E drivers then back to XFI later on mate. Beside the decoder tab issue how do they sound? You can check my profile what messegers I have.
