Softmod Augigy2 ZS -> 4 on Windows7 64Bit | how?

Hey Guys!

I just installed my Windows7 Professional and wanted to get my Audigy2 rockin.
Had Aud2ZS Softmod on WinXP running without Problems.

Installed everything from Pax Spring Suite for Audigy. Problem is that i have only very limited options now. In AudioConsole I only can select CMMS as only Option, the SourroundMixer does only allow me to change main Volume but no Treble/Bass control.

Did i get sth. wrong or does the softmod not work with 64Bit drivers?

Help me out

EDIT: Right now i can install whatever driver i want - my soundcard makes no sound at all - hum that worked before

- onboard sound works well ... damn

Hi You have your Device ID know it by chance? I going make new audigy driver soon new beta ones are out now

. Sorry there no way to softmod to audigy 4 I don't know hex nunbers lol.

Thanks for your quick answer.
I dont know what you mean with Device ID but here are some ID's related to my card:
Audigy ZS 2 E880 - VEN_1102 DEV_0004 SUBSYS_20021102 REV_04

The soft-mod for the Aud2ZS means you could install Audigy 4 PAX 1.02 driver, add Creative Software for Audigy 4 and the software thinks your Audigy2ZS is a Audigy4 with all advantages.

My current state is now, that i uninstalled what could be a Creative driver (also Youppax stuff) and let Win7 grab drivers from its database. Those drivers now work for me.

Anyway it would be great to have Audigy4 software running again with my card on this 64bit environment!

Did you try audigy spring set? Ya like I said I don't think softmod can work with currect drivers. I would work on new beta drivers that got release out by creative tomorrow.

As mentioned in the first post - i first tried the spring set. Drivers worked, but I had only limited control over my card -> no treble/bass control, no microphone volume adjustment and so on.

Please inform me as soon as you got the new drivers. Will they work with audigy4 software again?

I appreciate your great work!
