SBLive value on win7 x86 issue

Trying the PAX SBLive drivers works great in Win7 x86 as long as I remove some RAM to get my system at 2GB and not over. But that seems to be a known issue that no one can fix (Daniel, kX drivers, etc...). So willing to live with 2GB for now to play with Win7, I noticed that I cannot adjust the bass or treble.

My Bass and Treble sliders are stuck all the way to the left at -32768.0. I cannot adjust them to the right at all. The bass is a little high and I'd like to tone it down just a tad and also bring up the treble.

Any suggestions?

Re: SBLive value on win7 x86 issue

Oh no worries...

Anyway at least with your driver I can get sound working in Win7. The creative driver doesn't install at all, I guess because it was made for XP.

Regarding the Bass and Treble, it's not bad really.... it's just much different. Actually I'm getting used to it. The sound is a little more "full" in the low end spectrum. It would be nice to be able to make adjustments, but all is working. For music listening in Winamp, I can compensate for it with the Winamp EQ. So were good here.

Too bad I had to remove my 2 x 512mb sticks of Corsair DDR400 RAM. I just have 2 x 1GB OCZ RAM in now. I guess 2GB and 3GB isn't that much different. Everything is much faster with a fresh Win7 install anyway. My XP install was a few years old and starting to feel pretty sluggish.
