Fall/Winter Pax Edtion sets. More set be added later. One Thread.
Sorry guys and gals no read me this time I just upgrade my win 7 home edtion from XP home I don't have word with me. Beside if you know my sets by now shouldn't be to confusion to know which card for which set.
How to open You muss not extract with Winrar it contans own self extracing all you have do is double click exe file and folder would extract it self. To installed them right way. 1. Uninstalled from Device manager. 2. Run driver cleaner or sweaper. 3. Reboot. 4. Used a Reg fix cleaner then run Reg defrager. 5. Ps If you haven't check error on your hard drive it's time to do so before installing new set. 6. Reboot. 7. Installed the driver by clicking on setup.exe 8. If you running suite please go to audio folder then setup folder then click on setup.exe. 9. Click on Installed this driver anyway second box. 10. Reboot and Enjoy them. All Sets have same Tweaks from XFI Set settings with Extra Bass and Treble settings. Ever set is X 32 and X64 bit support. All Sets works on XP to Win 7 But if said expact XP only. This set for Prelude XFI Cards only. sounds good mate, am downloading the software suite and pci xfi drivers for win 7.
Any updates one the glitch with more than 4gb ram? Creative going to patch it yet? Keep up the good work! Im sure you're loving 7, it so fast! |

OK, no problem. It is 280 on my HDD and it decompresses succesfully. Then it is ~430Mb.
I'll write again, when I'm done with install. |

Problems! I can't install.
I did run setup.exe in root-folder. It mentioned win must reboot because a driver is present. This was because of deactivated Gameport-driver. Ok, then after the reboot I started setup.exe again, it updated drivers an prompted for reboot. Now, after 2nd reboot no drivers are installed. 2 yellow ! in device manager. I disabled the soundcard, ran setup.exe, it updated drivers and rebooted.
This time the bootscreen took very long. It showed "windows is being started" but the animated win7 logo didn't show up for about 30-40 seconds. After that amount of time it continued booting, but still no working drivers, yellow exclamation mark. |

wierd for you bud. Did you try the normal Audigy os driver v1.25 it's base on beta ones from this month. Try another pci slot if you got one.

Even if i do update drivers manually from fall pax edition\drivers\wdm\wdma_emu.inf
it tries to install but then says "error while installing driver" "can't find stated driver" |

This is Driver set for Audigy cards only it same as Software suite for those who don't want used the suite.

Same issue with audigy all-OS drivers 1.25.
I install them, then the pc reboots because of some detected drivers. After reboot I execute setup.exe again, it installs the drivers and reboots. Then in device manager still yellow exclamation marks and speaker icon with white-red cross in systray. |

Hi Mag hmm that is odd it just could be beta drivers from Audigy side then. Did you try v1.25 set? Go ahead installed on top of it. Let me know.

Hm, I now use 1.20 drivers then I update to 1.25 manually via device manager and then the error occurs: "error while installing driver".
So I'm not able to install the drivers from 1.25 pack. But drivers from 1.20 pack work fine. So, do you think it is only an audigy 1 problem? Last edited by magwork; Oct 31, 2009 at 10:30 PM. |
