hi Robert McClelland
thanks for your effort to help others i have a problem with my Creative audigy value card (SB0570) on windows 7 first time I Installed windows 7 and used the sb audigy driver from windows update it worked fine with no problems after a while windows noticed me that there is a driver update for audigy and then started my problem . I downloaded it and installed it then it gave me error . after restarting pc and when the start windows sound began the windows stops responding and makes a noisy sound , even after restarting it makes the same so i started windows with last known good config and uninstalled the driver after this i tried all the drivers out there from creative site both official and unofficial Daniel_k drivers even beta drivers and lastly your driver here all of them made the same windows hangs as soon as it plays any sound I even tried to format the drive and re-install windows 7 and tried those drivers again but it's useless however the card works smoothly on windows xp with no problems of any kind sorry I talked a lot but these are all the details about my case can you help me

Re: Audigy Value (SB0570) on windows 7 32-bit crash
You have turn down your hz to 44khz intead of 48 that would fix the issue.

Re: Audigy Value (SB0570) on windows 7 32-bit crash
Age or robert, please post again what age did so he could make SB audigy value work in windows 7.
i've tried many ways, but it didn't work at all. i tried robert and daniel k mods. When i tried the mods, win 7 always make the driver installed by itself. and then, i restarted and the right taskbar always show "no audio output device is installed". When i check in device manager, it says code 39 problem. What is that? Please, help me. Thx so much. |

Re: Audigy Value (SB0570) on windows 7 32-bit crash
Hi Robert,
I tried but seems it doesn't work T_T May I know how can I disable my sound card? Device manager? ![]() (Pls refer to the pic above, is that considered the sound card has already been disabled?) If yes, I cont with the installation with the driver downloaded from http://dl.technewshw.com/drivers/PAX...07%20V1.10.exe After that, I click on the setup.exe from the file downloaded. During the installation, it pop out with something like this ![]() Then, ![]() Then I pressed "Yes" to cont the installation, but nothing got installed. ![]() Should I reinstall my window 7? After the reinstallation of window 7 should I disable my internet connection (To prevent window auto search and install incompatible driver)? Last edited by JustinLee; Feb 6, 2010 at 10:19 AM. |
