X-RAM causing BSOD (STOP 0x50 - PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA)

Hey Robert!

I am having BSODs apparently related to the Soundcard created by the driver (xtreme gamer) and since creative is not paying attention to this to much, I thought maybe you would take a look?

All relative information is to be found here:

Win 7 BSOD on Loading - Project Reality Forums

and

Re: X-RAM causing BSOD (STOP 0x50 - PAGE_FAULT_IN_... - Page 9 - Creative Labs

This ctoss2k.sys seems to be the problem here.

Please, please, please, please, Robert, take a look at this! :-/ We are crashing with BSODS, its simply BRUTAL!

Thank you a LOT in advance!

Re: X-RAM causing BSOD (STOP 0x50 - PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA)

ive been testing the titanium v3.3beta4 but not enough to see a bsod yet.

the sound however is great. its more quiet at old level, but overall i can turn it up louder without cracking.

here is what is going on with other people right now who tested your creation Win 7 Creative X-FI @ Ultra High = BSOD only in PR - Page 8 - Project Reality Forums ignore the title. it will bsod on any game that uses "xfi" mode. hardware mode or software mode work fine. but then you dont get 5.1 or great sound!

if i bsod i'll let you know. thanks for helping.

Robert I am not as good with computers as you are so I have to ask a couple of things:

System Mechanic seems to be a tool, what does it do and how can I help you by using it?
If you want me to give you any data I will do my best to give it to you, just tell me what you need.

Too bad to hear about that other file. How could we fix this? Maybe spam creative about it?

You disabled some things? Like what? I know I am not into this and it would be hard to understand but I kinda want to know if the soundcard will still do it's job right.

I am not able to test ATM, but I will as soon as possible! Thank you for keeping an eye on this!

Re: X-RAM causing BSOD (STOP 0x50 - PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA)

I also have the same problem as Megagoth1702. I'm using the PAX PCIe Titanium ALL OS Driver V3.30 drivers with a Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatality Pro and Windows 7 64bit. I got a BSOD and this is what is shown in WhoCrashed:

Maybe these minidumps + sysdata may help you resolve the problem.

Please take a look:

Crash in Project Reality (BF2 MOD).

I replaced the BF2OAl.dll with the CT-Oal.dll or something like that in System32 folder.

Damn i had to uninstall PAX driver, it was causing problems in PR BF2, when i wanted to change audio settings it says "Your harware device isnt compatible" or something like that, never happened with common creative drivers.

Thanks anyway.

You did not uninstall the old driver properly.

Uninstall from device manager, reboot, run driver cleaner, reboot, install, reboot, done.
