PAX Driver + Windows 7 + 6.1 Creative speakers = Not upto full potential :(

Hi I did not know what PAX drivers are till a guy in Guru3d directed me here and after installing I will never go back to those standard drivers! I THANK THE DEVELOPERS WITH ALL MY HEART! ILY <3 :P ok here's the thing Windows 7 64bit Ultimate is what I have at the moment and its not supporting 6.1 speakers of mine just 5.1! Hence I was looking for drivers moded which would support 6.1 speakers that when I stumbled upon the AWSOME PAX DRIVERS... My sound card is Audigy 2 its quite old but I love it. My list of Driver installations go like this in this order Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2.18.0017 - 04.09.2010 > Daniel K's SB Audigy Series Support Pack 3.8 (04/19/2010) >PAX Audigy Drivers v.2.60 - 07.23.2011! After installing PAX drivers the 5.1 speakers turned into even lower 2.1 but awsome quality like never before I was wondering whether there is anyway I can get it back to 6.1 or 5.1 atleast! Please any help will BE GREATLY APPRICIATED! Thanky you

did you set speaker configuration to 7.1 in windows control panel?
did you enable CMSS?

Hi, Yes CmSS is enabled but in windows 7 where do i change the speaker number configeration to 7.1? Creative consoles give me only upto 5.1... iv put that to 5.1 but still gets sound from my front left and right only!

You may have reinstalled your software with my drivers

so your Divers only support uppto 2.1?

No should be up to 5.1 You may need formated your system when was last time you did that? Did you used my Software suite? Audigy 4 pro? go to audio folder then Auido then Setup then Setup.exe

I upgraded from windows xp to windows 7 few weeks ago so no issue ther in my eyes i suppose! What installed was this "PAX Audigy Drivers v.2.60 - 07.23.2011" :/

no I just installed your PAX Audigy All OS- Driver V 2.60. 7z file....... installed that straight with Daniel K's modded drivers :L Im soo sorry for bothering u mate
