Honda Pledges to Boost CR-Z Power
![]() The CR-Z, Honda’s two-seat hybrid, has been roundly taken to task since its debut last summer for looking more sporty than it behaves. In his review for The Times, Richard S. Chang wrote that in fuel-sipping Eco mode “the CR-Z barely registers a pulse, especially on the highway.” Heeding its critics, Honda recently confirmed that a more sporting parallel-hybrid power train was being developed for the car. “We are working on a more powerful CR-Z,” said Tomohiko Kawanabe, the automaker’s head of research and development, in an interview with Britain’s Autocar. “Our problem with the car as it stands is that it looks very good, but it doesn’t have the performance some customers expect.” Source

As it is now i like the design of the CR-Z but electric sports car? anyone else thinks thats kinda far fetched. I mean lotus' electric sports car was fast but it didnt do so well in top gear with the battery dying after a few laps or went it was being driven hard (which we all know thats how youre suposed to drive sports cars "Like you stole it")
