Oh man, I can't get in to the State of his Kingdom's speech tonight...I had enough trouble sitting thru it! (My wife actually told me at one point, "Y'know, I don't think he's gonna hear you even if you keep shouting at the tv...why don't you go outside and have a cigarette?"...and she HATES it when I start smoking again.

)

But I'm now more firmly convinced than ever about the Shrub, he's living in his own little fantasy land and it is scaring the crap out of me!

Oh, and don't just take my word about King George II being the worst president ever...take it from the nice lady that has been covering the White House Press Room for over 60 years now.

I'll concede that times during the Clinton era were good, but, this was for 3 reasons.

1. Economic policy instituted during the Reagan Presidency.

2. The sudden and misled expansion of the DotCom business.

3. Clinton ignored everything except women in the Oval Office.

What we are going through now is the result of that mishandling of the economic situation during the 90's.

Also, my personal conspiracy theory = Bush wanted to lay down the fiscal policy and Greenspan decided to show him just how much power he really has.

why is it everytime someone brings up cliton the only thing they have to support him is the economy, umm the reason the economy was so great is because of all the Enron's in this nation were making the american people think they were getting rich, when we all came to find out after a few whistle blowers came forward, that they were cooking the books and hidding losses so investers would keep sending in the money, people began to bail out of the stock market(with good cause) therfore companys that did'nt cook the books lost so much value they had no choice but to start laying workers off, to cut over head and attempt to make some profits. thats not bush's fault,,,, just to show I am not bias,lol, while bush was on the campaign trail he said repetedly that the nation was in a resesion, that was before the enron and world com crash, so my thesis is, he knew long ahead of time what was going on, imo ofcourse

Bush stated his reasons in his speech, but when he kept on saying "Based on Intelligence..blah blah blah" I was reminded of what children say "My friend told me...Blah blah blah" Come on, unless the U.S goes into Iraq digs up a few warheads and places them in front of the world, he has no right to go into the country with guns blazing "based on what his friend told him".

Nah... There is definitely more reason for Iraq to use botulin for facelifts. There is a lack of botulin in the Hollywood market. Iraq could stand to make a lot of money giving high quality facelifts to the likes of Joan Rivers, Lisa Minelli, Wacko Jacko and friends.

probubly becouse Bush fumbled the ball. Bushes tax cuts for rich will help only the rich.... Does anyone rember the govement was in a huge suplus. Bush comes in and now the goverment scroungeing for nickles and dimes. Our state had a multi billion dollor suplus. Now the same thier out of money. So bush puposes more tax cuts. Our state has had to rise sales tax. The feds are seeming to be ok but the states can hardly keep thier heads above water........
