Amusing quiz here too if you think you really know your stuff I haven't read everything at these links, so I won't vouch for accuracy...

The first amendment reads, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

I believe that seperation was not really the issuse. I think it was meant for the government to NOT dictate religion but not hinder it either. But to tell the truth I don't really care.

So whatever,

The phrase "separation of church and state" is not found in the Constitution anywhere.

I am NOT religious, but this I believe is a topic that many facts are not well known.

It sounded like you cared enough to post your disagreement with what I said. But when you see I may be right and you are the one that has the "common" misconception, you just say "well I don't care anyway" "whatever"-- I see how it is.

I would not be suprised if wherever you come from it is a common misconception that the founding of the USA had nothing to do with separation of church and state, along with thousands of other "misconceptions" about the US. Mainly forcefed through liberal governments and media spreading misinformation about us.

Hey, just keepin it real, dude.
