Well the question is relevant since they have claimed they will continue on this path in one way or another.
Preemptive strikes is part of this governments declaration on how they will rule Usa. So yes the question is relevant. Bluelight |

Well I don't know. You ask dumb questions and look at the company you attract. I think the question is stupid and gleeful as it revels in the prospect and reality of war. War should always be avoided and when this isn't possible it certainly shouldn't be enjoyed.
On a side note I saw some shots of a young American artiliery soldier writing messages on his shells. One of the messages read "Saddam, remember 9/11". I'm sorry but this sort of thing disturbs me. Is it just me, or can anyone else here spot the error? Are troops really told that Saddam was responsible for/involved in 9/11. Or is this just some ignorant young kid who didn't know any better? Q |

I predict it will be N. Korea, that is the biggest threat.

I wasn't referring to you Jeff. You know who I meant...
Anyway, I still think the original question was dumb, as it make war sound like its all fun and games.I hope it isn't Korea next, because if it is it will almost certainly mean nukes. I'm not sure who is potentially more crazy, but if either the Korean leader or Bush uses nukes, both will go down in history as mad men. I posted links before to Bush's strategic defence review where he clearly reserved the right to launch a nuclear first stike against unfriendly countries, so I wouldn't discount the possibility of the US using nukes first. The only problem at the moment is that they are just a little preoccupied... Q |

We all need to reflect about Korea:
LEST WE FORGET" They shall grow not old As we that are left grow old Age shall not weary them Nor the years condemn At the going down of the Sun, And in the morning, We will remember them. From Captain David Weltman, Veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam "This quote is the Theme of "LEST WE FORGET". It comes from the First World War days.. It is generally recited out loud whenever War Veterans' meet at Funerals and at other dedicated occasions. We end it with Amen." |

Preoccupation
The wheels have been set in motion, to attempt to polarize international opinion against the N. Koreans retaining possesion of fissionalbe weapons grade plutonium, but sources within the the Pentagon, (depending on who you believe) think that N. Korea has the capability to deploy WMD within striking distance of Japan and american bases there..

It is key that the coalition does a good job in Iraq, get Saddam out of there, organise a democratic system for the country, get free elections, help them build a free, save and prosperous country..
Only than will the war have been worth it, will the US and UK regain some of it's status of actually fighting wars trying to help make the world a better place and will a next war be far far away.

And no one will
believe that us, until the american forces, after a victiorious restoration of power, back into the hands of the people...will the celebrations begin...but I wonder how we would feel, if the IRAQI people elect someone that was a member of the BATHIST party, and equally as corrupt...this is so complicated, and I wish restoring restoring dignity to the forces fighting now were an issue, but it isn't yet....the U.S. and the U.K. are kicking some serious butt, and we really haven't suffered yet...not yet...

If this mad policy continues I only hope he will take on France next because the US will be flattened as well then and all will come to an end.
Why not end it all at once ? What I mean to say is : stop your mad president before it's to late |

Nuke this nuke that
This can't be a serious debate about anything if we start throwing nukes around, mad presidents or not, nuclear alternatives are terribly self limiting...

Just wait till Iraq is conquered..the US will find some interesting documents in Bagdad on mr Chiraq and his relation with Saddam..no wonder France was against this war.

Saddam has 2 bunkers (1 in Bagdad and 1 outside of Bagdad) that were build by the (at that time friends of Saddam) Yugoslaves which lay about 250 Meters below ground..don't know what bomb you're trying to use but no way you'll hit those bunkers...

They did this as a consequent politics that they shared with you......in supporting Saddam. You supported him with weapoas and intelligence(telling him where tio find Iranians that he then could attack with nervagas)...they built a nuclear plant to produce electrics. Since you both thought you controlled him...you had no problems with this. Then of course...the Israelis got worried...first ..of all...and bombed the thing.Wich of course was well enough..but as i remember it...it wasnt very appreciated they did that in Usa either. The France whining...... is extremely tireing...extremely... Mr Don....where are you...come and telll us...about it!!Tell us what it was really about! Bluelight |

Things are not
what they appear to be, it gets worse...I cannot confirm nor deny the prescence of a potentiol nuclear threat in IRAQ, but the U.S. will be looking for it, why else would Saddam want to take low grade uranium from Russia and turn it into fissionable material...it's scary..and this was more than twelve years ago man..
