Uprising in Basra

Reports are coming in of an uprising in Iraqs second city Basra. If this is true then it is excellent news, although reports say that the ruling Baath party are trying to squash the rebellion. Get the story here

it seems that the pro Saddam forces are machine gunning civilians attempting to flee many areas, yep, Men, women and children...I just hope the noose tightens quickly around Bagdhad because the civilians will suffer terribly under the swift justice of pro saddam weapons until they are finally liberated by the U.K. and U.S. ...what I see now is the Republican Guard drawing coalition forces into a trap around the captial city, only to use gas on them....then we will see weapons of mass destruciton...

There was...The Iraq is tried to recruit (force) civilians as shileds...certain officers or similar got so pissed off with this that they started doing things about it but...it was a small thing not spread among the peole as i understand.

Mmm no... as it turned out it was just a few people rioting over lack of food and electricity... I guess we'll hear lots of disinformation like this before this thing is all over...

the dissenting people of IRAQ are running into the guns of coalition forces, with their own people shooting them in the back if they try to flee...sure sucks to be a male in IRAQ and even worse to be a hungry woman or child..
