The Children of IRAQ

Just read the latest info from UNICEF, and the RED CRESCENT, The children of IRAQ will suffer terribly if something is done soon. It is certain now that the southern port is open to bring war materials and aid into the that area...but my concern is who should ultimately be responsible for the distribution of this aid. Kofi Anan made it abundantly clear to the U.N. and the world that the "agressors" in this war should be responsible for feeding the displaced inhabitants and the bombing victems...this could really get out of hand. I know we will try to "win hearts and minds" after the reconstruction, but it could turn into a real "hot" international potato.....

Not hotter than going to war without UN support i think..

Within a week all of Iraq except Bagdad will be under the control of the coalition..it shouldn't be hard to get the aid going by than.

Yeah......The first convoy was sent in today......It was stopped not far from The Kuwaitì border by civilian Iraq ìs (inside Iraq)that were yellein anti amerocan stuff while plundering the convoy...none of the goods reached its destination.

Journalists from the west was with the convoy and reported this today....

This is not.....gonna be ...easy...

I can see now how terrible the situation could get bogged down. Just an aside, have you ever looked at a picture of Rumsfield and McNamarra (vietnam war) the resemblance is startling, kinda scary, I read Rumsfields bio a long time ago, pretty scary, I wonder if he gives a damn about the children of IRAQ
