When will Russia invade Israel?

I lived in Europe, went to school with French kids that spoke perfect english...I was always embarrased that they knew more about the American revolution than I knew about Bastille day, and still don't. I like the French people, the french police I could care less about, when a french boy pinches a girls butt, no problem, no recrimination, but when an american kids shows up, the insults fly....It was ironic, during the cleanup phase of the Gulf War, when we were doing strike analysis, we ran into French technicians that were "forced" to work for Saddam Hussien...But I tell you what, some of the best footage shot during the Gulf War was with journalists that joined the French military in IRAQ, awesome stuff...but morbid..anyway....Israel will never be invaded because of the kind of support they have carefully cultivated all over the world...I still believe that the Palestinians still have a chance to make peace with the Israeli's....one day, but then I have my rose colored glasses on...

The only thing keeping Israel alive is the U.S. - You do realize that Israel has only existed since 1948. It was founded out of thin air and displaced a LOT of palestinians. They were living there quite nice... who has the right to run them out of their homes? You?

You made a generalization, now i am going to make one - The whole world (except the U.S.) acknowledges Israel as a pretty bad mistake.

Who is right?

The british have historically attempted to prevent the zionists from occupying any land in Israel or the country formally known as Palestine, that is a fact, I am sure you recall stories from your history books regarding the a friction between Great Britain and Israel. The United States was essential in the early birth and growth of Israel, when their enemies would have squashed them, French and other European countries sold them weapons, further legitimizing their existance, now that is a generalization of course, but valid, and they weren't the only ones. Israel has nuclear weapons, sophisticated aircraft, radar and superior firepower compared to their nieghbors, elaborating on the support they recieved after they fought their wars is pointless. I am not denying that, but Israel is recieving overtures internationally to end the crisis that has been perpetuated for years and years, and again, if might make another positive statement, it might happen...Enlightened world leaders like Anwar Sadat started out on a mission to remove israel from the face of the earth and after years and years of conflict beyond Egypts borders and internally, he made a bold move that brought about his death, but is there a chance for peace between Israel and Egypt.,...a divine epiphany? perhaps, but more brave people may step forward and risk their own lives to take the path of peace..In my opinion, if we dismiss the existance of Israel, we might as well dismiss the right of Palestinians to exist as well.
