The profile of a leader
The residents of the district are gearing up to form a new government. There is a pressing need to bring about Change. How can this change be brought in? The power of Change lies in the hands of the people only. The Change is possible by choosing a representative who too believes in change. For long the government has been unresponsive and inefficient. There have been wrong decisions which have resulted in wasteful spending and mismanagement of funds on the part of the government. The representative for Texas 22 nd should stand up for them and their conservative values. There is a need to fight the illegal immigration on the border through comprehensive immigration reforms. The high taxes are another critical issue. The high taxes eat into the hard earned paycheck of the families. This need to be controlled through sound fiscal management and lowering the taxes. The funds generated by the government in the form of taxes need to be directed towards creation of jobs and stimulating the economy. The government needs to be highly responsive, efficient and pro-active.
It is high time that the office of Texas 22 nd is held by a candidate who belongs to Texas and not by a Washington insider or lobbyist. This person should totally identify himself or herself to its problems. The person who fits the profile of an ideal Representative for Texas 22 nd is one who totally identifies himself or herself to its problems and has his or her loyalties within the state.
The Texans need to keep these points in mind before casting their valuable vote. The candidates standing for election include former Sugar Land mayor Dean Hrbacek, former Pasadena mayor John Manlove, former John Cornyn Chief of Staff Pete Olson, Family District Judge Jim Squier, State Representative Bob Talton, and NASA contractor Ryan Rowley.
