i guess living here in the states gives me a different mindset of what i think of the flag. the first thing that comes to my mind when i see the flag is "capitalism". idk why, but that's the first thing that i think of before anything else associated with the flag.

Probably shouldn't answer this one, but I would have to say the first thing I think about when I see an American Flag is 'Slavery'.
