Video footage from February 2003 -- about six months after the capture of then 16-year-old Omar Khadr -- was made public Tuesday under Canadian court orders. The clip, culled from over seven hours of footage by Khadr's lawyers, was recorded by a camera hidden in a vent.

I have seen Special forces guys and other paramilitary units kick the crap out of prisoners before, what's new here? Absolutely nothing.
It is with great certainty that any of the prisoners that have been positively identified as enemy combatents will eventually rejoin or join radical muslim or military units engaged in direct conflict against western nations when they are released.
I think when someone plans, executes or kidnaps or engages in conflict against any nation their legal rights so to speak are rarely defined with any accuracy nor or they given in due course of action within civilian or military courts.
I wonder how many young men and women never made it to GITMO and were summarily executed without benefit of trial or any legal wrangling.

I am beginning to think that GITMO detainees have become a ruse to shift the focus from what is really going on behind the scenes in IRAQ, JORDAN, EGYPT,IRAN, etc.
We dont know half of the whole story.

This is all speculation. No one knows for sure if he was tortured and the media has decided he was. He could have very well done this to himself. My brother is stationed there right now and he has told me that these dudes will shit and cover themselves in it just for attention. He says the reason why the vast majority are still there at GITMO is because their home countries do not want them back. What are we supposed to do with them then? Let them loose? Give them a trial? Where would the trial take place? Who would be the judge and jury then?

They should have given all of them what the Geneva Convention allowed, and executed them on the spot when they captured them.

So, they sifted thru 7 hours of tape and all that they found was him crying for his mommy. OH, the HORROR of it all.

Damned good thing they didn't make him go thru Marine boot camp. The cry baby lirerals would wanted us to be tried for war crimes if that would have happened.

You are right. I only cared about the "precious American" men, women, and children, that were gassed in Kurdistan. The "precious American" children tha were raped in front of their children in Sadam & Uday's rape rooms. The "precious Americans" that were fed feet first into wood chippers. The "precious American" fathers beheaded slowly in front of their wives and children as Al Quiada did in Iraq. The "precious American" children on school busses in Israel that were blown up by Palastinean terrorists.

Google Daniel Pearl. IF you can manage to watch it (I couldn't as I'd heard just the audio beforehand and that was bad enough). Come back and tell me that what happen to this 16 year old kid is "torture".

I found a propoganda video by the group that beheaded him, that was all. I never found the video of him on his knees being beheaded, some of the clips on the propoganda vid were nasty though.
