I think this is right up there will al lthe other inflammatory crap that gets posted about politics, I am sure there is a great deal more anti this and that crap out there for consumption. There is no shiny coin at the bottom of great moutain of crap out there for poeple that want to find this sort of thing, and it isnt peculiar to Americans either.
You can find this sort of thing in the UK or Europe and even in Asia.

Nothing terribly surprising here, there's a lot of foolish people who believe Obama is Muslim, or the Antichrist or just don't like him cause he's black. It doesn't affect his campaign in the slightest -as those people weren't going to vote for him anyway. If anything, he picks up a few more sympathetic voters every time a story like this comes out.

I don't think that is so racist. That goes on everywhere. Definitely sensationalist journalism. I've heard and received a lot worse. (I'm mixed race and go pretty damn dark after a few days in the sun due to part-African ancestry)

Here's the stupid fuggin thing about the issue of whether he is, or isn't muslim, There's only one huge difference between islam and christianity. Jesus Christ. That's the huge defining difference, Granted Islam nations tend to rule with Old Testament principles but the religion itself either sides with mohammed (sp?) or Jesus. That's all. So I don't care if our president is muslim buddhist, jewish, He could worship pickles for all I care. I want a president that can lead, I'm sick of these holy people that claim to speak to god then lead our country and dig us into shitholes we get stuck in.

That sort of thing has happend before with other candidates. It's just a 'big deal' because Obama is "black".

Hang a white poltician in effigy and it's a political statement...hang a black politican in effegy, and it's 'racist".

It really wouldn't suprise me if it wasn't an Obama supporter that did it. We had a 'racial incident' at Miami University here in Ohio a year of two ago where the 'Black Sudent" group that was the victim, turned out to be the victimizors. They did it to themselves to get some sort of sympathy and creat outrage at the 'white racists'.

There was another case of a Collage Professor not long ago that turned out to be the same thing.

However, they do need to find whoever did this, white or black, and if it's found to be racially motivated, proscecute them under hate crime laws. They need to do jail time, not probation, not community service...jail time.
