The vatican is a business
its full of relgious business men and religious politicians...
The reason why Henry the 8th pulled down the Catholic houses of worships was more than just legitimizing several failed marriages, but to reduce the power of the pope in old blighty.
Religious power is something you give to someone willingly.
no one person should or can steer or direct the followers of christ in their faith, except someone that walks in their shoes, and that sure isnt a bloody pope.
