Anniversary of Benazir Bhutto's Assassination Mourned by Thousands

December 27th, 2007, exactly one year ago today, Benazir Bhutto, former Prime Minister of Pakistan, was assassinated. Today, thousands mourned her death, filing by her gravesite to kiss her grave on the first anniversary of her assassination.

Assassinating her because she was a woman was just wrong.

I hope the same thing doesn't happen to Obama because of his skin color.

She wasn't just assassinated because she was a woman. She was against Musharraf.

It's funny how she was practically chased out of the country for being so corrupt and now the same people mourn her death!!! And it was her husband who had her killed, he's as corrupt as they come. I hear he had a nice insurance policy going on his wife...

Now there's another corrupt tit in charge, war looming on the eastern border with india and british troops being pulled out and replaced by trigger happy US forces along the northern border with Afganistan. Looks interesting.

here's a poem i wrote dec 27 2007 about this :-

The blind

How I see them fall,
you’d think life was worth
nothing at all,
deaf to their cries,
they are never surprised.

How good people must die,
to move forward, I don’t know.
Malicious motives will go
only so far.

To kill for political gain,
is a foolish game,
a lady is killed,
by the darkly skilled hands.

If they could put that skill
into love, so much more
would lie before them,
but they remain,
deaf to her cries,
they remain as shadows,
out of reach.

Violence is a consequence
of blindness,
a failure of understanding.

I figure criticism is the quickest way to develop someone's skill at something instead of telling them what they want to hear.

If everyone told you that was the best thing they had ever read there isn't much chance of writing better.

What you should do is write more and post it in the Heavenly Echos forum section. I have some of my crap in there as well so blast away.
