From what I see, the fairest way to settle everything on this planet is to forget religion, forget God (I'm atheist.)

I'm not against anyones beliefs, the problem is that these beliefs lead to arguments, anger etc... and present themselves to us here in this conflict.

From the very depths of time religion has been used to control, subjugate, slaughter and make money. If there is one thing we can all live without, it’s our imaginary friend/s who apparently exist.
I look at all religions under the same principles of how I see Pastafarianism, people believe in something, whatever they like, even in God or what so ever with no fact or basis on reality, don't want to start a big argument but there is no direct evidence or even any that proves or even indicates a higher being or presence.

Hence pastafarianism so blatantly false is as proven and as unproven as any religion. And history teaches us that most religion leads to unforgivable madness.
The Crusades, etc...

This whole problem is down to who can’t tolerate who, open the borders, let people live where they want, who cares. The problem is that the people of these religions cannot co-exist. It’s stupid and pathetic. I don’t see what either side hope to achieve and in terms of the religions themselves, where does it say that this is ok, to murder, to be bigoted etc…

If your religions are so bigoted that they can’t co-exist neither religions deserve to exist. All I really see is 2 pathetic children fighting over stupid insignificant things. Both sides need to grow up

If neither side can do this, save the rest of the planet a job and nuke each other off the face of the earth.

Well in the islamic holy book it says that it is ok to kill non believers if they are not christians or jews (in which case they can live as second class citizens, pay a special tax, etc) and they are not willing to change their religion to islam. So yes, it does see to kill.

Now, about the jewish religion, as far as I remember there hasn't been a religious cause for war started by jews since the ancient times when they settled those lands for the first time. In fact the most religious of the jews were against going back to Israel because they believed (and some still do) that it is/was against God's wishes and that they should only return after the messiah arrives.

Take that as you wish.

You can look at the media for the differing interpretation, just watch the news from Israel, then Britain, then America, then China, then Turkey etc.... all on the same thing, a news item will be cut to show certain things, or certain ideals. each one will be different with only shades of the truth in each.

Don't believe the bollocks written in the news, don't believe and put something into practice because a book says its ok. This kind of buggery is mental. The only way for you to know and understand anything in this world is to see, know or put it into practice yourself.

Oh please. You've obviously been watching the dutch guys propaganda movie Nowhere in the Koran does it say it's ok to kill non believers. You can do it in self defence, eg if you're being ttacked/invade,d but not an onnocent person. People will twist it around to suit their needs and talk people into blowing themselves up and other innocents, but nowhare in the book does it say blow up innocent people, no matter what their religion, and, they have a choice to live their lives the way they want to live it or follow whatver religion they want to follow. I'm mistaken about what? You having watched watched the movie or something else? If you think I'm wrong about whats written in the koran then are YOU high or something? So where did you get your facts from then? The media? A chat with yer mates down the pub?

I worked with an ex britishes ofrces guy who too the time to read a translated version of the Koran, even he knows theres nothing in there about killing non believers who don't want to convert to Islam, and theres nothing in there about killing innocent women and children whether it's by suicide or military weaponary. It's all just propaganda bull to keep the public happy about invasions and whats going on in the world.

Hello guys

Sorry for the long absence due to some problems with ISP .
I would like to mention something occured with me the day before yesterday .


While I was walking to get some money from ATM near the prefecture (not far away from my home), I mentioned an intense presence of hundreds of equipped policemen (some of them covered themselves with shotgun bullets) as well as dozens of police trucks. Some people wearing civilian apparel stopped me and asked for my ID , I replied who are you ? He seemed to be angered with my question so he threw me with some generous insults. I would like to end this quickly so I surrended and gave him my ID , he sent me to another one who asked me few questions , took my mobile and throughly examined me couple of times .



I was sent to another one ,who was more respectful than others, I got another couples of questions then began to search through my mobile , opened latest dialled , recieved , missed calls , messages folder ,clips and photos .He told me to turn back home and don't proceed and gave me back my ID and mobile .





Till now I don't know what was happening out there and who those men were ,but I guess they were secret police officers trying to frustrate possible protesting march about egyption government inactivity towards Israelian war on Gaza. And those trucks were on standby to carry as much protestors as they can.

I am working on updating the thread soon.

Egyption diplomatics have warned from something like that months before.

Making Gaza under egyption control means that the conflicts will be between Hamas and the Egyption government and Israel is out of the mess, and simply Egypt won't accept.

We know that Egyption government is busy tring to get rid of her islamic antagonists, so It wont risk by getting more of them.

This maybe related. I can't believe that any shit country in the world would supply its enemy with gas lower than extracting price( That costs country 9M $/day) for 20 the coming 20 years. And yet more than half of the country villages is not supported with gas lines



Seems Egypt's politics get a big cut for that.

But the government refused the lawsuit action.

That indeed is correct, dumb people use their own interpretation of things to justify their actions, no religion = no interpretation = no justification.

I'm also curious as to where I "mocked" religion. Dumbed down as the metaphors may be be they represent exactly what I'm talking about. Remember any history, the crusades for example, kill the Muslims because they are Muslim, make them pay taxes to practice their religion. One may want to mention that your country only has 200 years of it.

Granted, I'm quite happy to let people believe what they want, any religion but not at the expense of life.

And me saying I'm an atheist is nothing to do with throwing weight around or making a point, It's just a statement, I cannot and will not believe anything without substantiated facts. Its the way my brain works, I cannot even comprehend how people can believe in a greater being, and I don't intend to find out.
In terms of the Koran though, I never said it did I was talking about the former quote.
I don't put any effort into not believing whatsoever, it not hard as I said it is how I work, without definitive evidence I won't believe it.

And tbh about enjoying religion, I hardly thing the Israelies or Palestinians are "enjoying" religion now.

And no it most definately is not a religion + in terms of spite, whom came on to a board to shoot down whom with a poorly written argument rather than actually make an effort and converse in a proper manner.

Plus why sing a new tune if the old tune is still good and congratz on making me repeat what I said first followed by your repetition.

Its a small bit of land is the Gaza Strip, compared to how much they Palestinians used to own back before 1944 and the end or WWII, wonder how that happened? The Palestinians were so hospitable that they gave away the land and asked the jews to control all the water, electricity and food supplies into their country? Is it even a country?
