Public Flogging of Woman by Taliban Raises Outrage
A video of 17-year-old woman being flogged thirty-four times by Taliban militants in the Swat Valley has raised public outrage. However, while President Asif Ali Zardari ordered the arrest of the perpetrators, the teenage woman was flogged in Kabbal, a remote district where Taliban rule is the law.
