Supreme Court Refuses to Hear Case on Jury's Use of Bible

When I served on a jury, I was told there could be no research outside the evidence presented in the case. Thus, it's somewhat surprising that, despite what you may feel about Khristian Oliver, courts have not overturned his sentence.

what did this man do that required him to hit a man with the butt of a rifle that caused the other man, or victim, to die?

there's not enough information in that article to have me decide with one side or the other, and i'm not familiar with the case to already know before hand.

wait.. i think i heard this quite a long time ago..

if i recall right... a robber had broken into this guys home, the guy that owned the home had a rifle and wacked the robber in the face with the butt of the gun instead of actually shooting him with the intention of knocking the jackass out.

However it ended up killing him, and then somehow he was charged with murder......

But it does sound like it's the other way around or something.... like the robber nailed the owner with the gun....

Oviver was commiting the crime, he wasn't the victim:
