Affirmative Action Upheld

The Supreme Court of the United States upheld the last racist policy in America today, though it narrowed its scope somewhat.

Two wrongs don't make a right. From Reconstruction to Affirmative Action, the law to open doors for African Americans to compete with white students is fundamentally flawed. Affirmative Action is in and of itself used as a tool to discriminate against white students who are academically superior but are not African Americans. I believe it has created a sub culture of people with expectations of a "free ride".

actually limbaugh only got it half right. most non white students do fall under other forms of affirmative action- money subsidies. you get more grants, resources, etc, available to you if you are non- white.

i would say against. i am really mixed about affirmative action. there was a time it was needed, &, unfortunatley, there is still areas in this country that need this. i think in its current form & implamentation it is does more harm than good. i would prefer the money being spent at lower educational levels. everybody would be better of with better grade & high school education. start with the basics and the rest usually works itself out.
