Who is in charge of the educational system.
This isnt really meant for debate but rather a question on your philosophical standpoint on the current educational system. I once had a post where I raised the point that the educational system is inheretly impotent and incapable of solving our real world everyday problems because it is quite frankly expounded and defined by the powers that be, who want to control the education and make sure that with it we become slaves of the "free market economy" rather than beeing free minded individuals seeking and implementing alternatives to current problems.....
Who is in charge of that, cant seem to find it on the web... if i'm not shooting blanks

Re: Who is in charge of the educational system.
Everyone is... frankly the problem now is the fact that even with schools... that have grown to sizes that are unmanageable to properly teach... and governments that should never get involved in such teaching... that everything is falling apart.
Home schooling is required at this point..... and instead of forcing specific subjects down a students throat.... they should be allowed to roll with what they have an interest in and not be hindered by other unnecessary subjects. I still think 99% of the schooling i had was a complete waist...... over 12 years waisted.

Ok to get back on track i totally agree with you dawgX just imagine all the years i wasted in the formal school system and the 5 years at university and i still encounter things in the work place for which i am totally unequipped bloody annoying when you think about it coz they where suppose to be preparing me for work life
![]() + there is a tonne of stuff that i learned that i have never used ![]() There was only one or two professors who actually taught me stuff that am using in my work (only 2 WTF)

Re: Who is in charge of the educational system.
Worst of all..... most of all schools no longer have hands on solutions in the fields.... making it even more difficult to grasp what your saposed to be learning...
and with the way the job systems are setup now... you can't get experience without working, and without experience you can't get work.... which is a freaking catch 22 just like the credit system, you can't get a credit history if you can't get a credit card cause you don't have credit history making it impossible to do anything at all.
