Sorry for going totally off-topic, but you might find this article interesting. Agricultural subsidies seem to be an efficient mechanism for keeping poor countries poor. Did you know that many western countries give subsidies to farmers for not growing crops or livestock? Heavily subsidized western agriculture also has a huge environmental impact. Well actually it was because the corn got so cheap for a while even the farmers weren't getting paid enough. And believe me being a farmer is a hard work.

So they actually enacted the subsidies to make sure that Farmers could turn a profit, Ethanol really helped them too, because Ethanol is another source they can sell corn too, and it takes tons of corn to make enough Ethanol.

Granted, I think we should still just give them the subsidies. And just take their corn and give it directly to Any starving nation instead of giving money to countries. Money can be corrupted, giving grain/corn etc directly to the people means they do get fed.

, to me LOGIC is the measure of all things if there is sense to it then I'll believe it, I don't necessarily have to see it, also there is supposed truth inferred from another observation from nature, it helps making understanding things easier.

To me religion is about growth of character, strength of character, understanding self and science and achieving your personal perfection in spite of societal limitations, that's why the best among us are always the ones who broke traditions instead of maintained them.
You don't have to be "religious" for that on the other hand science doesn't well explain these things.

Yes but see my theory that the big bang was really just a gynourmous fart is just as good as the big bang.

And there's the problem, everything's just a theory, until it's proven.

My theory would explain why life does indeed, sometimes, stink.

If you believe God created the earth by causing the big bang, do you believe that He did that all in 7 days, or millions and millions of years?

The unfortunate thing for some people is their ability or lack thereof to take something figurative and make it literal. The universe created in 7 days is scientifically impossible, however if considered that a day is an an astrological age, an eon or phase that the universe passes through from inception (kaboom) to development unfoldment and expansion then yes this term will make sense.
Studies and a fresh look at history culture and religion is important for us now, thats if we can drop chingy and lil wayne and Britney spears for a tick

With this new perspective moving forward will be easier

I don't know if the big bang is a reality,
but its quite possible, after all,
many scientists have spent so long in study
and that`s the best theory they have made for the beginning
of time, and everything in this physical world.

But again it is just a highly informed guess.
From what I remember, before the big bang
everything existed in the space smaller than a peanut.
All the universe, compressed into that small dense point.

To imagine that power,and everything contained within that,
to believe this, is just as far out as belief in some form of creator
entity being the cause.
