Frist of all Happy 4th of july!

LIBERTY celebrate it while we have some left ..... two words patriot act type legislation. I was so glad to see that the police have allready been ABUSEING some of the new powers given to them by POST Sept 11th type legistlation. this is not only been hapening at the fedral levels , but from the state level down to city councils. Its all effecting us .. slowly their invadeing on those rights so many men and women gave have thier lives for. Wich lights a fire under my rump to stand up and try do something. wrtie you reps, isn't really effective ... i doubt they even read let alone see 1/1000th of whats sent to them.

I it really ticking people off . For example this 4th they sectioned off all the popular paces to park along side roads a streets (that people have ben paring their on the 4th for the past say 20-40 years). Posting Eery 50 feet with new specail STATE OF EMERGENCY sighns decareing it a no parking area for 12 hours (4/4 after 6pm till 4/5 6am). (I feel sorry for those that normally like to park in frount of thier own house.) Many people who could pack into the sadium parking were left walking about a mile to see the show.

1st. thing if it was such a state of EMERGENCY then thier should not have been a firworks show. Its just an exaple of the many ways the Government abuses thier new powers they been passing. Legistration such as the partiot act / partiot act . have loops hole you could drive a 3 ring circus through. Thier two invaseive. For exaple under the patriot act. if someone is being watched they have the right to wire tap any location that has a phone that they go. For example. this individual stops and asks to use you phone. well no the feds can tap your line (with no time limit i might add/for indefonate period of time).

we idally stand still and let the goverment take are freedoms away one by one and then love them for it?
Our contract with the govemernt we call our constitution ... garentee us cartain rights.. but yet it seem these rights now should read with alot of IF/AND/OR/BUT now. This cannot be! its a descrace to those who gave thier lives / spilled thier blood to defend thier way if life. This all gets me kinda upset.

what are you guys thoughts on this matter?

heck most people dont ven know every line in the US. has been electronicly tapped since the 1960s when they incoparted a sytem that listens to the line. If it hears key words (like persident, govenor, bomb, assaonate) then the entire call is recorded and fowarded to the CIA or FBI for review. (yet its not common knowledge)

Damn I just saw this post! Apparently the political ring isn't the most widely visited area of the forums. Anyways Amen and Hallelujah! Couldn't agree more, we're being manipulated and cordoned off, our rights stripped away, well at least they are ignored as you cannot take inalienable God given rights away. Ever check out Alex Jones?
