I think he needed to be direct there, otherwise people would still hold on to their bias while ignoring his points

Now I'm not saying there isn't a lot of bias in his responses, there is, but there's also a lot to think about there... Traditionally western media doesn't really portray the Irani side of things...

I think he rocked Larry's world, but how hard is that to do?

Seriously, the President of Iran seems very astute and educated, even moreso than our president. Like that's hard to do either. But he did make some VERY valid points.

Western Media and politicians have always portrayed many of the eastern civilisations as savages, idiots.. rioters, death to american yelling bastards..

and continue to do this today.. and have used countless ways to take most of everything he has said out of context.

Frankly anything bad these guys do have to say about western culture is actually quite factual in a number of cases..

Personally i'm in favor of the guy, it's pretty much impossible to sort out the bullshit and get any form of truth short of going to iraq and actually talking to REAL people.. not the people that media desides to plaster on their broadcasts.... they'll have interviewed 100 people... and managed to get 1 person there happens to push their agenda or views... and only show that one person views.. or interview 1000 .. find 5 or 6 that push their views they wish to push... and present all 5 and then slap 1 to counter their views to appear "Fair and balanced".

Anyone watching the news today and thinking that any of it is remotely accurate should maybe take a walk...

I've said it many times before.. watching the news is like watching a comedy.... you get more accurate information from a comedy show then you'll ever get from the news.. and the news is generally more halarious to watch then the comedy shows simply because it's so sad to see comedy shows showing the news basically showing you how horribly corrupt and misguiding and totally inaccurate it is.
