American politics is quite sneaky and these guys will end up getting us in trouble whats all this Anti China rhetoric:

Coz Russia and every other anti-american hegemony will jump in too and that'll be the 3rd world war. The sad thing is we all know its coming we just dont know when.

I totally agree with you, Dawg. There is something building on the horizon, and sufficed to say, we have no one to blame but ourselves. We elected these inarticulate and unintelligent bigots to be our leaders - and yet, we complain that they're racist, homophobic, and unable to perform the duties they were assigned to. That's because they were never qualified to begin with; they merely attained the position through circumstance, social and political clout and "monetary influence".

I might be going out on a limb in using this analogy, but it's like we've hired a bunch of sixteen year-old kids for a fast-food job, and then we were surprised when they didn't do anything but text, do drugs and steal from the stockroom while they were on shift.

Old dogs can learn new tricks, but only if they're shown and led by example to do so.

Its scarry what china is talking about, their also thinking of non manned aircracft sole purpose is to destabilize aircraft carriers and enemy technology, then bomb the heck out of the place, i mean really....... WHY?

Because the few people that are getting stuff typed into the teleprompter and the politicians know that the US owes China among many others billions and trillions of dollars worth..... japan, canada..... hell even mexico....

But china and japan have the most invested in the US and it's dollar..

and with the purposely devalueing of the USD..... china and others are not very pleased..

I support china in their standing up and refuseing to follow the US memo submitted to other countries..... And i look forward to the reprocushions.. i just hope that the US doesn't intentionally do something utterly rediculious, or canada may get crushed right with the US worse then what could potentially happen.

I don't disagree with you on any of the points you just listed. But you are generalizing the country in an unfair and brash way -- you say all our elected officials are bigots, yet there are examples everywhere to the contrary. Just because a few notable ones are doesn't make all of them such.

And yes, the US is in a bad place right now, politically and economically -- but we have been in the past, and we have the power to move through this.

the issue with the rest of the world isnt with "americans" (for those informed enough to understand),the issue is the American political and financial system,i.e its power base, if someone messes up in Enron for instance the effects are actually felt quite hard in the 3rd world, the past 10 years has seen most food and necessity prices double in my country and in its the same case globally, almsot everywhere. Not all politicians are bad thats true, but the system is soo far gone, you no longer know whether its a belt or a snake you are looking at, as a matter of fact I am certain modern politics will exacerbate the already declining global social and economic arena. Its a worldwide pandemic :this, failure of democracy and "the free market" .The blame doesnt only go to the U.S, we are all responsible, but America as the leader of the modern world has failed to live up to its own great ideals and I'm afraid they are answerable to God for whatever crimes committed or crimes of inaction.

I hate to sound gloomy, but just turn on the news and tell me it aint all going to .....well I cant say but it aint good either way

america sees china as a long term threat to it's super power status and this figure of $80 billion defense budget is just hearsay that is china's offical budget .... according to defense analysists they believe it is nearer $150 billion, plan (the peoples liberation army navy) has completed the refurbishment of the ex soviet a/c Varyag (Admiral Kuznetsov class) renamed Shi Lang they plan to build a further 2 - 4 carriers ... china has spent vast sums investing in modernising it's navy, army and airforce

the American Presidents and their foreign policies of the past forty years and the posture of both China and Taiwan have stretched and pushed the envelope but trade remains the most vital link between China and Westernized nations. America long enjoyed a position of economic power. Now enter India and China, slowly evolving in Free Market economies, albeit slowly and from both sides of the spectrum.
China is slowly inching closer to the U.S. in terms of growth, and despite corruption and over industrialization, recent economic reforms are putting into alignment with other nations and may be responsible for almost 10 percent yearly growth.
China's economic power is swiftly rising, and it may in fact be in harmony with the rest of the world, rather than an adversary.
Years of peace, political reforms and changes in worldwide foreign policy make investment in China more lucrative, in spite of patent violations and state interference in domestic manufacturing.
I see China and India being solid rivals soon.

China's growth is outstripping America's growth and i think you will find corruption is not confined to China alone .... corruption is rife in the west

America is like europe it manufactures very little everything is either made in china or india as well as mexico for america

won't have to worry when the united states crumbles when china and other nations stop using the USD as THEE currency for trade.......
