are now gone, and won't be coming back. In the long run, they are shown in an effort to eventually....bring P E A C E. Contrast this with the reasons dead US soldiers are shown, which is to bring about a more prolonged war, by trying to inspire the few nuts out there still loyal to Saddam, that a war is winnable against the US, which it is not. You have to look at reasons, the "Big Picture" if you will first, and not let a pre-bias/hatred of the US cloud your view. Saddam will do anything to try and stay in power, and keep his current, (now past) affluent lifestyle intact. Saddam does not care about the majority of his own people. He cares only for himself and his own well-being. To put it simply and bluntly, Saddam is an a$$-h0l3. There is plenty of research you can do, with sources from all sides. *Off-topic* When do you get to have an Avatar here at DH? 100 Posts? |

As I said before, you would be 100% correct if those corpses were shown on Iraqi TV only. I doubt many Iraqis watch CNN, anyway, less than those who watch local TV. The "Big Picture" I see is the media of the victor parading with body parts of the victus. Of course, most likely it's only tabloidism; but this is the way it looks.
