Sad

Now you're at it again... It doesn't matter how bloodthirsty or how sadistic these two guys were, it still doesn't give you the right to hunt them down and kill them. And it sure as hell shouldn't be a country that still kills it's own citizens like in the middle ages to be the judge, jury and the hangman. I don't have any envy for your government though I find it brutal and repulsive. And if you continue to make remarks about the sentence below my name, I don't know if I should treat you like a child or a joke.
yet again you miss the big picture. iraqs citizens wanted them dead. it was an iraqi citizen that turned them in. so that pretty much gives whoever the 'right'. or do you beleive the iraquis are wrong in this? brutal & repulsive?- coming from one of the leading explosive & chemical producing countries in the world? oh that is right yoour country does not actually do anything. just gives other people the means to do it. & still sitting on those sidelines. should check your history out. death sentence has been around a whole lot longer than the middle ages. as far as you treating me like a 'child or a joke' that should put us on even footing.

That's a great idea, let's destroy all stocks of wmd's - starting with your. Sure, Hitler should never have been allowed to do what he did, but calling me a bozo because of something that happened 34 yrs before I was born is only stupid. The difference between Europe and USA is that a new Hitler could never rise again in Europe, USA on the other hand are repeating their mistakes time after time. Didn't you learn anything from Vietnam? With american soldiers ambushed and killed every day, it's only a matter of time before you withdraw them from Iraq because the home opinion will demand it. And then my friend, there will be another Saddam Hussein waiting in the shadows, and Iraq is back at square one.
wish it were possible to destroy them all. i did not call you a bozo(but i should have). the post is to jeff & refers to some of the european leaders. for the i do not know how many times, stop taking things out of context & making things up. do not be to sure about the hitler thing. unlike some other countries that want to have a say in world politics but do not want to get their hands dirty(publicly at least) we try to do the right thing. does not always work out due to internal & external politics but at least we give it a shot. by the way were where the 2 biggest wars in history fought? & why did they get as far as they did & who saved the day?
as much as it hurts to say it you are right about "You can't force democracy with violence." but the other side is 'freedom is not free'

If I recall correct there was a big fuzz on this page when some Arabic tv-channel showed pictures of dead american soldiers. Now no-one reacts when the american medias are doing exactly the same thing, the moderators even let people post the pictures here in this forum.
That's because when pictures of dead Iraqis are shown, it is in an effort to show the rest of the Iraqi public, that these people, (Uday..and Cooze-head)
are now gone, and won't be coming back. In the long run, they are shown in an effort to eventually....bring P E A C E.

Contrast this with the reasons dead US soldiers are shown, which is to bring about a more prolonged war, by trying to inspire the few
nuts out there still loyal to Saddam, that a war is winnable against the US, which it is not.

You have to look at reasons, the "Big Picture" if you will first, and not let a pre-bias/hatred of the US cloud your view.

Saddam will do anything to try and stay in power, and keep his current, (now past) affluent lifestyle intact. Saddam does not care about
the majority of his own people. He cares only for himself and his own well-being. To put it simply and bluntly, Saddam is an a$$-h0l3.

There is plenty of research you can do, with sources from all sides.

As I said before, you would be 100% correct if those corpses were shown on Iraqi TV only. I doubt many Iraqis watch CNN, anyway, less than those who watch local TV. The "Big Picture" I see is the media of the victor parading with body parts of the victus. Of course, most likely it's only tabloidism; but this is the way it looks.
