I didn't know that CSPAN had this but aparently their BookTV section does monthly presentations of and when possible interviews with autohors. I stumbled on this brand new segment with Chris Hedges, an authour whos works I've previously only touched briefly. Three hours long it took me two days to view all of it, but it has been the best antidote to the daily fragmented news that fills the ether. Any foil hats better remove their headgear before viewing or the calm reasoning may lead to overcooking the wetware. Whether you're a fan of Obama, Ron Paul, the late Hitchens or nutty Alex, you're not safe. You're also not safe from often well meaning but ultimately confused people calling in to ask questions during the segment.

Give it a taste if you have a while to spare. It might stick, or it might not.

Don't get too hooked on the video headline, it's just a headline.
