That's no suprise, Arnie has been dancing around politics for some time now.

The person who I'd like to see win is Larry Flynt, woulden't that be great! LOL

As I mentioned in the Off Topics thread on this: If anyone can turn things around in California, it's Arnold. And, if someone doesn't perform, they'll be....

He's a republican right?

worthy of my consideration, even assuming he is a novice at politics, he didn't get where he is now on brawn alone, I believe he has a brain, and scoffs at the Ivy League crowd, he has my vote...Get republicans back in power in California, and turn the state around..

Arnold was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin (which is a much better school than its relatively unmentioned name belies) and has a degree in business. And using that, believe it or not, is precisely how he made his first million.

He was a successful businessman before he was an actor. And America's business is business.

Arnie wouldn't be the first Republican Governor of Calif. I know at least one other: Ronald Reagan.

I know bud! I was meaning in any recent time. Considering how California has been very liberal for quite some time now.

Welcome LoveByte

I think you just don't speak Swartzenegger, that is the problem, his cliches have been quoted by presidients, now that is something..
Like legendary Sparticus, he will challenge the Democrats for control of the California, now that takes some strength, intelligence and resolve...

Arnold will be the next governor of California. Apparently the Bildebergs have laid their blessings upon him and the Bohemian grove folks have blessed his race. Not that their different mind you, just two different areas of the same folks saying he'll be the next governor. Idiots are useful in office, just see George W.

I would only vote for Arnold If in his speech he had this line

"I promise I will not make any more lame jokes and do my lame Austrian Laugh"(or Australian everyone says a diffrent thing and I am too lazy to check)

and

"I promise I will stop making refrences to working out when talking about the state's crisis"

and

"I promise I will never mention 'shaving my bikini line' as the second hardest decision I ever had to make especially in the Tonight show and all other public apperences"

NOw he would have my vote

i will vote for arnold not only because he has savy & is smart enough to know when he does not know something & get help from somebody that does, but also as a f..k you to the slimeball politicians.
this country is way overdue on letting those scumbags know that we are tired of the way they are ruining this great country. actions are much louder than words.

It doesn't matter who you vote for see my previous response to this thread. Elections in this country are rigged, the elite put who they want into power, we just get to have the illusion of a republican form of government. Arnold will be the next governor. He's the elites little darling.

it ALWAYS matters who you vote for. if you are able to vote & do not, you got nothing to complain about. i am not saying the choices are good, they are not, but this is your best way to show your opinion. do not like any of the party types? vote for one of the pissants that best represents your views. being disgusted with the whole thing(justified) & NOT voting is exactly what those slimeballs want. that way they can put in whoever they want. but if enough people start voting away from THEIR choices then things might change.
the recall thing is already having fallout in other areas. citizens are tired of the crap that is being done to us & dished out to us by the politicos. i think it is great!

What you say sounds more like stuff you heard from your parents or your friends, rather than your own opinion. Get a fucking brain and think for yourself. If you don't think voting matters, you are a moron.

excuse me? Who's repeating thoughts attitudes gotten from their elders? It's long been the myth in this country that if you don't like who's in office you can VOTE them out, however you cannot you can only vote for electors. Also with Diebolds newest election contract and their flawed as insecure software anyone can rig the votes with a little time. The elections are rigged, this country is not run by who the gov't schools teach us run this country. Not convinced check out www.whatreallyhappened.com or www.infowars.com.

Better yet check this out http://www.onlinejournal.com/Comment...partridge.html

If we have the right to vote people in, we have the right to vote them out. If the person does a horrible job managing a state, the people should have the basic right to vote the person out. And that's exactly what is happening. Also, politicians aren't the only ones who has the right to run for public offices. Anyone can. Even some public schools have ditched traditional education Ph.Ds and replaced them with business CEOs who proved effective in turning around a school's reputation, educational level, and financial standing. Just because one went through political schooling doesn't necessarily make him a better politician.
