American Sceptic James Randi noted 19 items in the steve martin/Warner bros movie leap of faith that were taken from Randi's book ' The faith Healers ' without any payment or creditation.

When he looked into legal action, he was told

' Warner bros has a standing army of lawyers to handle such matters, all very skilled in obfuscation and prolongation of legal actions '

also he was told it would cost tens of thousands to sue, almost certainly more than he would gain in a settlement.

In other words we dont need to respect ' intellectual copyright ' but you do, because we are a big multinational company. They can take, use whatever they like because nobody can afford to sue them.
