funniest thing is the "UK" is gonna bring in the same kinda thing for new Citizens .... i can just imagine them trying to ask me to do it (frankly it will never happen) ... i would tell thoose idiots in whitehall "London" ... if i pledge allegiance ... it is a Allegiance to my Country SCOTLAND ... and i would challenge the muppets to throw me out my own country ... the sooner the tories get in power ... the sooner Scotland will become a independant country of CALEDONIA

Having fought in two wars, raised on the red white and blue, and fully embracing the social compact of the framers of the constitution, I must say to remain true to the spirit, the substance and the construction of our country's democracy, it is imperative that we evolve as a society, for without this necessary adjustment, we cannot remain true to the future of your country.
I knew when I was a child, that the seperation of church and state must be a adhered to, embraced and defended, to allow all nations, all faiths and all cultures to adopt the universal pursuit for freedom.
If the America that I know ceases to exist tommorow..
people that embrace the freedom, embrace the ideals, and cling to the goals of those that struggled for a nation over 200 years ago, may draw inspiration, power and guidiance from the America that we tried to create..
America is it's own worst enemy. and our world is changing by the nano-second.
How shall we survive, how shall we endure, if we do not tolerate, embrace and accept all the cultures, religions and laws that our culture will tolerate.
My children know the pledge of alliegence, now the lords prayer and know right from wrong, what more can I do, but remain true to the RED WHITE and BLUE.
When I die, my legacy would be incomplete, without teaching my children, that America is in our hearts and in our minds. True Americans rise to the challenge, we adapt and we overcome, with help from our higher power, where ever it is...
For America to endure, we must respect the faiths, the values of our brothers and our sisters...
We are all just travellers on this big blue world, going round and round in space...
We must all do our best
to make it a better place..
for the children..
God bless them all..
