Sad MP3.com - peoples hard work destroyed.

I just read this article

http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/7/34009.html

I cant beleve this, how can anyone justify this,
peoples music from all around the world collected for years
and then flushed down the toillet by some filthy business men.

this just makes me sick, I am a musican myself and some of my music
was on this site on my friends page, also my friends work too
erased overnight by some bastards trying to make some cash
there was some really good music on this site which wouldnt have seen the
light of day any other way, sure some other sites exsist but this was the biggest
and best. How can it be justifed just deleting the lot,
A large music archieve just burnt, Criminal.

just another example of the corrupt way bisiness operates.
who the *uck gave Cnet the right to just erase all these peoples work?

JavaFox is on a distinguished road

Mp3.com probably wasn't financially viable in the first place.

I read the link and I found it really interesting. But you can't hold CNet responsible they are out there for that extra buck. I also went to mp3.com and read their plans. Did I understand correctly that their idea is to make yet another Pay to play shop? They also promised that new artists will be participating once again probably for free but who's gonna pay money to listen to new bands? In fact who's gonna pay money to download music when you can get tons of music through P2P networks for free? These large corporations sometimes live in an ideal world it seams.

Btw did you hear that the Apple Itune program is being in financial danger coz from the 99 cents per song none goes to Apple they go to RIAA. Apple makes money from selling Ipods etc but since other corporations such as Sony is going in the business it will blast them out of the water.
