U.N. Warns Oil-for-Food Companies on Documents

UNITED NATIONS — The office of the senior U.N. official in charge of the scandal-plagued Iraqi oil-for-food program has sent letters to companies involved in the program telling them they should not hand over any documents or information without first clearing it with the United Nations.

Lol, no mate I just had some stuff to deal with. Real life you know... It kind of jumps up an bites you in the ass sometimes. Still it kind of puts all this sort of stuff in perspective. It's weird to leave it and do something and then come back. It seems a lot more empty than you remembered it.

Oh well I made my contribution. I thought it might seem weird if I didn't say anything. But its done now and I don't have the inclination to have these long, boring and ultimately pointless arguments any more. I just think that probably there are more important things in life than this.

Best regards,

GJ

No man. Like I said, shit happens. ^_^ kind of asked me (in a roundabout way) where I had been. It probably isn't appropriate to discuss that in an open forum such as this, but as I said sometimes life throws things at you that you can do absolutely nothing to control and it reminds you that there really are more important things in the world beyond this.

I'm sorry. I may seem in a weird mood. But right now I have every right to be.

I just thought I would stop by and say hello. No more than good manners I guess.

Well anyway, I appear to have wrecked this guys thread, for which I appologise. But I didn't quite understand the point he was making. It's the US and not the UN who are currently embroiled in scandal right now - and if the UN human rights commision (or any similar body) wants to vet doccuments comming out of Iraq, or wants to investigate any possibility for fraud, then that's really quite a good thing. It just seemed like a random thing to point out for no particular reason.

Anyway that's it for now.

Best wishes.

GJ
