I will vote for Bush again. The way I look at it no matter what Pres. we have they will screw things up sooner or later. They lie to get in they lie while they are in and they lie when they get out.

THEIR NOT PROTECTING THE ARTISTS THIER PROTECTING THIS $$$ AND OVER CHARGEING
CD slaes are at an all time high, so is file swapping....

It doesn't protect the indistry it makes people hate them and wanna do 1000000000x more

the artist get like what? 6 -13 cents royalty for a full cd? the cd costs about 6 cents... so the rest of the $16.99 or 19.99 goes in some ritch companies pocket

then again alot of poeple like to try before they buy.. for exaple games I useally don't buy a game till i've tried it some now games doent even have demo's! now if i buy it i'm stuck with it! same thing with a music cd yea i may like one or two songs dut what about the other 10-15? mabe they suck wich can ad does happen

some thing here ok ....

I bought cds retail now when thouse were lost , stolen, or broken? do i get a new copy? no they wanna hit me again full price! that not fair!

let say i had had about 50 cd's lost/stolen that about 50x 20 = $1000 + 6% tax
how muh of that did the artists/groups get from all that total? $3.00 - $6.50 thats all

so you not hurting the artist more then anything you hurting this super company over priceing machine...its all about grredy companies... if it wasn't for file swapping they were looking at upping the price to $25-$30 a cd ... insted they lowerd thier prices a little an sales soared...

they were going

Your problem is if you van download without risk or not.

Why wouldf you be so outraged about this organisation othewise?

Why would you bother?

Out of concern for Beyonce?

Hardly.

The whole "whining aboyt Riaa" is about the right to take for free.

Now i can understand that if you say you dont give a shit about anything..but coming from someone who supports corporate capitalism almpost as religion.....well a bit hard to digest.

the problem with the music company is that each one has a monopoly. Most of you don't buy a genre you buy an artist. If different companies were to sell the same cd then it would be all good.

it's the fact that there is now the ability for all artist to be able to supply there own talents and music... for everyone without having to get it packaged up and sent out and wait for days for it to arrive for others.... the downloading of music is precisely what the majority of all artists have dreamed of.... and really .. it is the MAJORITY of artists....
