The funniest yet is that Powell says that "the coalition" will leave June 30 if the provisory government asks them....

That takes all prices so far.

I think the US would leave. But you know the government will never ask them to leave. If they do they are screwed cause you know they want to use our muscle to maintain order and control.

Well ..the government will not be a government choosen by the people.It will be choosen by the occupants so.....what Powell said was just theater.

It is obvious that international prescence is necesary in Iraq.The question is just is which way.

Major analysts including republican ines claim that within 6 months the UN will be in charge of Iraq (like under Gulf war 1) which would allow for troops also from Muslim nations something that ...might...just ..might cool down the situation.

The terrorgroups will still do what they do but the general support by the IraqÃ*s would probably be much bigger.

At least that is what i hope.
