Well obviously you missed the part about extreme christian fundamentalism and the fact that, while I disagreed with much of what Christains do I would still defend to the death their right to exist .

There are many decent Christians out there, but they are quiet and dignified and don't try to shove their beliefs or their contradictions down people's throats.

To be absolutely clear, it is intollerance I despise - not religeon, not conservatism, not ignorance (although I'm not much of a fan of the latter either) not anything else at all. Everyone has a right to a view, providing you agree that everyone else has a right to a view too.

If you do not think this - and feel that your views should dominate over everyone else's - then do not be suprised if I have absolutely no empathy at all for you.

The one thing I hate most is hate of others - and that my friend is something you and your kind appear to share in abundance.

Like the Clinton ordeal if he just said yea I “banged” her people would gasp am move on but instead he hid it and denied it and we found out anyways but in a low drawn out public ordeal. It’s not the act or the fact it’s the act of hiding it. Why would he hide it if he as proud of his heritage as anyone should be?

He's hiding it because in most peoples eyes it would doom his campaign that’s just this country is at this time after the way the French have been acting in regards to Iraq....

He’s got family in the foreign government. The French publicly like him… He spoke of feign leaders that secretly want/endorse him. Course later he changed his story because he refused to name names to back up that statement.

But let’s hypostasize if he’d said the French government that would mean his run for president would be pretty much at over. There is a general hatred or dislike of France at this time. In between the rumors and the facts France was doing some self severing right or wrong. Now they want to join in the $$$ flow (contracts )for the rebuilding.

Kerry wants to open that door to them. Something they far from deserve…

But they are funny and entertaining none the less…There are a lot more Kerry photo chops out there then bush chops if that means anything. Personally I try not to post pictures of him as he is one ugly dude but, his oversized hair piece just begs for ridicule.

No, it's just people like you I find offensive. Self righteous, ignorant, undeducated, biggoted, hateful, small minded; the type who never stops for a second to question their own right to pass judgement over others - and who on the whole are undoubtedly the least suitable sort of all to feel they could possibly have moral, intelectual, or racial superiority of anyone.

Now I've made that quite plain. There is no 'spin' there at all. If I have left any possible room for doubt, please feel free to let me know.

Guys I dont really like closing these threads and tend to leave this to toshiro to handle but I think this specific thread is now turning into an "insult" thread. It would be nice if we could all have differing views and yet maintain a little bit of respect for the opposing corner but in this specific instance its not happening.

I suggest everyone opens a nice bottle of wine, seeks some pleasant real life company and comes back with a fresh perspective. cheers.
