American Human
American Human by C-Style
It's unbelievable to think where we are coming up on 2005. All this time on Earth, and humans are getting more and more reckless. Destroying the planet as fast as we can, and not looking back. Stomping out any opposition. Stealing from whoever, whenever we can. And all under the guise of good. Anger. Hate. Jealousy. Greed. Lust. Insatiable monsters constantly seeking to temporarily quench their addictions. Consumers endlessly working endless jobs to buy more things, and pay to survive. As soon as one is born, he is a slave. We are slaves to an entity. Civilization has removed freedom. But we are happy. While we all worship different religions and some worship nothing, and none really know why. People starve and die, while we busily get more things, to make our existence on this rock a little more exciting, just so we can join them a little later. Animals being run off the planet one species at a time. Lives being destroyed. But we are better than them. America was born in murder. The founders came here and slaughtered its natives, only to eventually put them in reservations while we rule their land. They are now nearly extinct. But we are a people of peace. Born....school....work.....retirement.....death... ..hell/nothing Again again again again again forever Explain. What's the point? We are becoming less than conscious. It goes on and on and on. Well, what can we do? We can just live, right? Well, yeah. But: If there is a God, We are letting millions of people suffer, we are robbing each other. Few care. Animals are being removed from their planet at our hands. The human species has taken a vicious hold of this planet, and is choking everything else out. While we are doing that, we are busy murdering and torturing each other. Destroying the planet we live on that was given to us by Him. So hell, here we come. There is no one on this planet who truly follows the word of God if it is all true. If there isn't, We're still doing all that , so our stay here must not be permanent. Either we just quickly destroy this planet and become extinct, or we find another planet to move to (if one exists where we can live), and no doubt encounter other beings who will no doubt not appreciate our methods of civilization. (conquering all that are different from us, to take what they have for ourselves, them claim it was ours always). Whichever is right, we're wrong.

I thought I was hopelessly pessimistic, but this sounds like a filthy crazed old blble-swearing doomsday-preaching naked guy on a New York streetcorner to me.

The tract here seems to touch upon the question of the meaning of life, and decries the seeming incorrectness of those who find meaning in chemicals and consumerism. I wonder, if someone can truly be happy with consumerism as the whole meaning of their life, is it something to look down upon?

I'm not depressed or anything. I just wrote that late one night when I was thinking of all the people who run around acting like master's of the universe. The Mighty always fall, and if we don't become instrospective, we will all pay a hefty price for our arrogance.
It's just something to think about. I'm not sure what I believe (god? no god? aliens? no aliens? ghosts?). I may not even believe myself, but the words are there, and they can be taken in any way you want. All I'm saying is...THINK. Think about more than just what you're told...go outside the box...FOR REAL. THINK!
