Angels... Do they exist?

Do you believe in Angels? I mean, I have a friend of mine who said she saw one when she was close to dieing (she was in a MAJOR car accident) and well, that made me think wither it's true or not.. Is it our imagination or reality?

first of all: "there in the bible so i believe they exist" so if there was a chick with 4 boobs in the bible, you'd believe it?! woooot.... crazy naive! sry man...

second of all, if i was in a major car accident, i would see angels too!! what do you expect?! i was in a fight once, and i saw a rainbow in the upper left of my sight! i swear it was a rainbow (but in the middle of the night?) that is where common sense comes in. there are no people with wings with feathers on them!!

I don't have any proof either way on angels, ghosts, or aliens, or any other 'supernatural' forces int he world...but it's much mroe fun to think they exists and ponder it then ti is to quickly dismiss them as rubbish...so syea, i suppose I do believe in them(altho not in a physical sense of being people with halos and wings)

Angels exist, in ignorance we dismiss them, and choose to believe in ourselves as the omnipotent beings on this earth, but we are in no position to judge the unseen or each other as well, none of us is above the obvious and that is we are not in control of most of the things that go on in our lives, I believe angels are instruments of Gods will, and embrace us when we need it, and perhaps when we dont. No one is greater than the power of the almighty spirit and we should cherish the faith and knowlege that spirits are among us to do his will.

I have to come to terms with my own spirituality often, that is why I am hesitant to judge my fellow man, and look on those that do with a great deal of empathy, because they cannot accurately describe nor criticize anyone without knowing themselves first, therefore the only intimate force in the universe is the energy that travels through us, and around us and perhaps keeps our molecules together. Angels and God, Jesus or any prophet of God that died for the sins of man, demonstrates that we are weak, we are ignorant and we need the guiding hand of the almighty father to carry us over the threshold of doubt, we are not the masters of all things, and we need the angels and the warm embrace of God to give us the shelter we all need when times are good, and the necessary energy to support us when times are bad.

hmmm.. once upon a time, some ppl chose to write a book.. just like any book. a long story with a good moral to it. do you believe in harry potter too? harry p. is a story, just like the bible, nothing more nothing less. only diffence is the name..

Angels dont exist, in ignorance we believe them, and choose to dismiss our self-belief.

It isnt about being in any position to judge it is that we ourselves are judged when our souls come before our higher power. I am only disappointed by those that consider themselves above the will of God. I dont want to tell you how to believe, whom or whatever your higher power is, the only friend you have in this world is your faith and the will of God to help you if you believe in him. All I can say is judge yourself before you judge others and have the courage to admit that your no better than anyone else, humility will preserve your sense of balance and your dignity.

All I am saying is that we should rejoice in the knowledge that in the great universe we are not alone, there is a mighty power among us that keeps us from the brink of disaster as long as we believe...

You're just as "brainwashed" as he is. And as much as you may not like to hear it, there may be something to religion. There's certain things about it that have baffled people, how with the bible's help we found ancient civilations that historions once believed couldn't have existed.

I personall am no fan of religion. But it's a belief system, and you have your own belief system. You believe you have your own will, that's what you believe.
