Ebay closed it. The guy obviously is still in with all this Sothern rebel stuff. He sells and collects loads of crap like this.

Ebay didn't close it, it never reached the reserve price and has been relisted.

It's an antique, collectable book whether or not you find it offensive is another matter.

Yup...it's an antique, like it or not...I personally wouldn't want it, as I don't collect such things...but I see absolutely nothing wrong with selling it

Possibly. But it probably belongs in a museum - like the Jewish holocaust museum or something similar.

Maybe. who knows? It depends if they are of a similar nature to this. A museum to remind people of the sometimes more unsplesant aspects of their past may not altogether be a bad thing.

Sometimes we all need reminding where we have come from.
